- A 12 month subscription to GameFly (with which you could have rented all the above games.)

- A (non-gimped) Xbox 360.

- A PlayStation 2.

- An 8MB PS2 memory card, a wireless Xbox 360 controller, and a Dual Shock 2.

- Anywhere from 10 to 40 GOOD GAMES ($736 worth), such as The Orange Box, Shadow of the Colossus, Bioshock, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Okami.

Imagine how many talented people you could be supporting, and how much you could be learning about game design...if only you stopped thinking one of the most successful businesses in Japan needs your charity.

In other words, Kairon is essentially flushing his student loan money down the toilet. These thousands of dollars worth of games he is splurging on now might get a few months of play, but the debt is something he will have to live with for years to come. Some of his games certainly have replay value, but many of them don't. I mean, Ninjabread man? I've heard nothing but bad things about that. This loan money will have to be repaid at some point, and I don't think these are particularly wise investments.....

RE4 and No More Heroes.

I'm planning on getting Umbrella Chronicles at some point. And I'll probably buy Baroque (though not in March since I'm getting some other game on the 9th of that month) and Oboro Muramasa Yotoden if Atlus (or another publisher, but most likely Atlus) would be so kind. And I'll probably end up getting House of the Dead 2 and 3

It's true! IT'S ALL TRUE! T_T

Well, actually, I do have a job. That's the money I'm flushing down the toilet. I've never actually inflated my student loans, though other students do that to buy laptops and cars. The student loans actually enable me to live without any rent or "living expenses" for the time being, so pratcically all my earnings from my student job is treated as discretionary income.

That said, never take financial advice from me. LOL.

Make sure you watch out for those credit cards. Credit card debt can sneak up and bankrupt even the most scrupulous spenders.

Well lets see here. I have 17 Wii games and the breakdown is as follows.

Nintendo Games
---------------------

1: Endless Ocean
2: Excite Truck
3: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
4: Link's Crossbow Training
5: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
6: Super Mario Galaxy
7: Super Paper Mario
8: WarioWare: Smooth Moves
9: Wii Play
10: Wii Sports

3rd Party Games
---------------------

1: Dewy's Adventure
2: Elebits
3: Ghost Squad
4: Red Steel
5: Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
6: Trauma Center: New Blood
7: Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure

If I had a bit more money, on the 3rd party side, NMH would have a place on the list as would Mercury Meltdown Revolution and Umbrella Chronicles. Which would give me a pretty even split.

Actually, game prices falling below the $40 level helps out my third party library immensely. RE4 Wii, Ghost Squad, Kororinpa, Zack & Wiki, Metal Slug: Anthology... all these wonderful third party titles I bought new for less than $40. Oh, and Ninja Bread Man too.

I own the following 3rd party Wii games:

Star Trek: Conquest
Godfather
Resident Evil 4
Raving Rabbids
Mario, Sonic, Olympics
MySims
Trauma Center

I have about as many 1st party titles, but I won't bother listing them since they're the pretty standard melange of Marios and Zeldas (plus Fire Emblem, which is possibly my favorite Nintendo franchise).  For me, the Nintendo/3rd party ratio is about what it's been since the NES days, ALTHOUGH the only Wii games out there that I want but don't own are both 3rd party (Puzzle Quest and Geometry Wars).  Actually, I can't find Puzzle Quest anywhere.
Not just flowers,I love them all like weeds and     veget

Wow, like some others, I'm surprised that there doesn't seem to be a lot of library collections that are dominated by first party titles. Anyway:

1st Party
Wii Sports
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Mario Galaxy

3rd Party
Godzilla: Unleashed
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

And, for the record, I had Red Steel... but I sold it.

Well, for the most part even if the support has been somewhat jacked up there actually has been a pretty decent stream of 3rd party games out there, quite a few of which the GC for some reason couldn't buy.  Shouldn't be that surprising.

Looking at the following publisher breakdown, it's obvious that even though about 85% of my Wii game library is third party, Nintendo still wins handily on a publisher by publisher basis. (no reserved games were included in this list)

Other big wins are Sega and Electronic Arts, but I actually have been easing off on EA purchases, in the future they may become less important a third party for me because they have offered few Wii games to appeal to me as of late. Sega, on the other hand, has been great, constant, and will floursih in the future with great game sin the pipeline.

Also, Capcom has some very steady offerings. Activision should be in trouble though because after buying 3 games from them near launch, it took me a year to buy a fourth in GH3. Ubisoft is in a very similar situation with no titles bought for that year between launch and No More Heroes. Konami benefits from having Hudson's titles lumped in with them, and Atlus' Trauma Center games put them above the rest of 1-game publishers.

Oh! And EPIC FAIL to Bandai Namco. You're a MAJOR publisher, but you've only got me to buy 1 game?!?! And where are the gundam games, hey? I would've bought BOTH that Gundam SD game, and especially salivate for Gundam 0079. Geez...

The reason we have stronger 3rd party libraries than we expect is because the 1st party games always stay full-priced; whereas 3rd party games might even be as low as $19.99. I'm one of the biggest Nintendo fanbois on the planet, but it is hard when you have Zelda at $50; Metroid Prime 3 at $50; Super Mario Galaxy at $50; and et cetera. These games will remain $50 at least for a few more years, and perhaps even indefinitely. On the other hand, I was able to pick up Godfather, Ghost Squad and RE4 all for $29.99. That $20 in savings makes a difference in the number of games I can afford.
