Nintendo Gaming / RE:Super Mario 64 DS Mini-game high scores
« on: March 25, 2005, 05:20:41 AM »
I only play Shell Smash, but I play it tons, more than the actual game or any of my other DS games.  My high score is 66,630.

Nintendo Gaming / Most Polished GCN Game
« on: July 08, 2003, 06:28:18 PM »
I don't find ED to be all that polished.  Well, maybe it's polished, but its N64 origins certainly show.
I think the most polished games are Zelda, Metroid, and most of all SSB:M.  Smash Brothers still looks great, plays great, and I never once thought something looked or sounded out of place.  It still has the best Mario model of any Cube game so far.  SSB:M=extreme polish.

Nintendo Gaming / How do I get a demo disk?
« on: May 28, 2003, 03:49:23 AM »
Yeah...I bought mine at BestBuy Sunday for $10.  I went back on WTuesday to look at Wario Ware and noticed the demo disk was now $40.  Insane.  I hope they get their asses slapped.

Nintendo Gaming / Do you feel the GC is slowly dying away..?
« on: April 28, 2003, 05:13:29 PM »
I have been feeling that way.  For myself, I love the Gamecube and what it has in store for me... but I think interest in the system has been on the decline for the last few months.  Nobody's buying Metroid anymore, and it's great, and I don't think Zelda has gotten quite as much attention as it should've.  Sad life.  Oh well.

Nintendo Gaming / Super Smash Bros. advance
« on: March 29, 2003, 06:54:34 AM »
I thought Nintendo announced a long time ago that they were porting the original SSB to the GBA.  I think it could be done pretty flawlessly.  They would have to limit the zooming in and out with the camera, maybe opting to just follow your character, which shouldn't be a problem since each player would have their own GBA screen.  The grphics in the original are so simple, I can't imagine that the GBA couldn't handle it.

Nintendo Gaming / Still Smashing?
« on: March 26, 2003, 07:52:20 AM »
I still play and love SSB:M.  Also, I play Monkey Bowling 2 all the time.  Those are my two most played games.  I might as well not even have most of my 19-game collection.

Precisely.  I don't like watching sports on TV, let alone playing videogames that emulate the feel of televised sports.  Now I can play Beach Spikers and Mario Tennis till the cows come home, but that's about as close as I get.

General Gaming / Dreamcast games

Okay, this may not seem like an obvious choice, but if you have a lot of friends---

RUSH 2049!

This game became more popular than Smash Brothers with me and the friends I lived with a couple of years ago.  The battle and stunt modes are unbeatable, and the racing is the best in the seires.  Seroiously, buy that game.

Other than that:
 Jet Grind Radio
 Rez
Cosmic Smash (import it, it's 3D pong, and it's great)
