That character is in the Chinese poster for End Game which came out weeks ago, so not really too much of a spoiler.

In other news, Spider-Man Far From Home got its released date bumped up by 3 days in North America

The character isn't the spoiler, the movie pitch being rumored was (it's really minor as a spoiler, exciting as a future movie though)

I'm thinking they want to try to take as much advantage of the holiday as they can. With the Fourth being on a Thursday, you wouldn't want to miss any potential matinee viewers or have your opening night compete with fireworks shows and picnics.

So now they can have an opening Friday total, but you also add in the "preview" Thursday...Wednesday, Tuesday, and (probably) Monday. Nice.

My hot take on this is that Endgame would've been on the last MCU movie of the year (or atleast the summer) if it wasn't for Sony pushing another Spider-man movie ASAP.
Just as there wouldn't have been a single FFH trailer until after EndGame.
It probably could have been the first ever Post Credits Trailer in the theaters too if Sony insisted the movie come out this year.

Imagine the surprise and the HYPE from a previously unannounced trailer for the previously unannounced Spider-Man FFH playing at the end of Endgame.
definitely worth waiting till the final credits finish playing.

The artwork is really blowing me away. Looks truly phenomenal.

Hopefully FFH teases what the new status quo will be. Fury is in it, maybe SHIELD is back, and he's at the helm. Then the end credits scene could really be anything, possibly a tease the New Avengers team.

and they cut off the movie before any mid or end credit scenes, so they don't if there are any, or what they could be if there was one or two.... so stay seated. (like we've been trained to do

Someone had time.

Movies start at 10am. Line officially started at 6am. First guy was here at 5:20am. I walked up at 6:02 and was 14th (alhough now I'm 18th... not sure how that happened....) They were supposed to open the theater at 8. they have not yet, but there's about 65 people here now.

Yeah, but I heard a lot of hype saying the same thing about Infinity War... and quite frankly, that movie was mostly trash.

Infinity War had lots of meaningless action trying to cover up for an underdeveloped plot and complete lack of interesting characterization. Maybe that's what people want from a blockbuster movie, and in a shorter film I'd be willing to accept it. But this isn't a short film by any measure - it feels even longer than it's run time. I don't set high expectations for a superhero movie based on comic books... but this still left me disappointed.

My expectations for Endgame are pretty low.
I'm sure it'll be a spectacle of epic proportions.
I'm sure that it won't have any substance or be worth watching a second time if it follows in the footsteps of Infinity War.
