fandango was a nightmare, but glad I got on at exactly 5am.
ended up with 2 tix. not sure if IMAX equivalent, but was cheaper and let me actually purchase.

Got tickets for 6PM Friday, because we don't want to be out super late on a weekday night, and all the good times are taken on Thursday.

I went for 10am on Saturday because the 182 minute runtime will mean i still lose 4 hours (including trailers and travel time).

In Korea, there is almost no trailers before movies, and if there are any, they start before the movie's show time starts. I like this system much better. They also are constantly showing their trailers for upcoming movies in their lobbies, so if you want to see a trailer you can.

I really don't enjoy the American style trailer in the theater experience anymore.

I look forward to waiting two months before seeing it. I think I could get a ticket where I live without reserving, I just will enjoy it more if it's in an empty theater on a day off.

They've got me engaged and all-in on seeing this one in theaters, but I can hold-off til the initial hype cools. I haven't seen cpt marvel yet either, although I don't know i'm that interested in seeing it. It's more I suspect I might miss-out on some important context for Endgame if I don't.

Are the start times official? Also, do the run times include the credits/post scenes?

Run times typically include all credits (pre and post).

The start times are taken directly from AMC's website. Putting more previews between the other movies doesn't help - it all starts at 10am on the 23rd and ends with Endgame starting at 5:00 on the 25th - with a 3h2m runtime, that schedule runs about an hour short.
