I think to be caught up for Defenders, you need DD S2 and IF S1
You just may need to watch LC S1 to be familiar with the other characters, such as Misty Knight
You only need to be familiar with who JJ is (don't remember if Trish was in it....)

IMO Defenders was just... ok.

but in defense of LC S1, it was a slow show, but the 1st 7 eps were great. Cottonmouth -> Diamondback was a HUGE change and downgrade in the show.

Yeah, Finn Jones was pretty cringy to watch in IF S1 and Defenders. But they sensibly took away his "I am the Immortal Iron Fist" rubbish in S2 and it was far better. I'd actually recommend IF S2 anyway. It was a pretty enjoyable watch.

And yes, Defenders was disappointing. A huge waste of Sigourney Weaver.

Also, in other news (not MCU related, although it wishes it was....) Venom movie is supposedly TERRIBAD, catwoman levels of bad. Terrible performance by Tom Hardy.

It'll be interesting to see the reviews for Venom. I bet they're keeping the embargo up for that reason. To compare, A Star is Born is also releasing this week and is sitting at an 87 on Metacritic.

Yeah, that doesn't look like a spider-suit. I wonder if "Far From Home" sees him trapped in the Quantum Realm? Or the Negative Zone?

Edit: The finger tips remind me of Miles's Spider-Man suit, which was given to him by SHIELD, so that could explain the logo you're seeing.

In other MCU news, some Avengers 4 info may be floating around.

Rumor is that the Subtitle may be Avengers: Annihilation.

in other A4 related news..... Marvel India posted a pic of Stormbreaker and another weapon that supposedly belongs to Capt. Marvel.

But back to the A4 title....
There's a running theory about how the title may tie into scenes from IW and AM&TW

Annihilation, I know is Comic Story, as was Infinity War and Age of Ultron.
but what does "Annihilation" mean?

in here you see right after the snap. lot of Orange "souls" or energy appearing in the Quantum realm as bodies fade to dust.

Now thinking back to the title again, the Russos had posted a video as a hint to the A4 title:

the look of the video ties in with the Quantum realm rumor, and title of that video also ties in with definition the supposed rumored title Annihilation.

All speculation at this point, but interesting.

oh, and I forgot, but besides a Black Widow, Eternals, and Thunderbolts movie that Marvel was working scripts on, they have apparently commissioned a Dark Avengers script as well

Yeah, meant Daredevil. Mark Ruffalo apparently leaked the title on The Tonight Show, and it isn't what was posted above, but The Last Avenger - probably that was just a swerve or something though.

I saw that while I was putting that other post together.

Meant to come back and edit it in. He made a big deal about it on twitter, and then they "bleeped" it out, but the audience had already shared what he said, and I'm pretty sure it was hype anyway just to make people tune in.

I actually believe Holland, Ruffalo, & Bettany when they state Marvel gives them fake **** to read all the time so that no one actually knows what's going on till it's being stitched together in the editing room. I bet Ruffalo don't even know the title, and won't till the Promo Graphic is released.

hopefully it gets picked up by The Vault/Hulu
or Netflix is making room for another show?
