Stratos...yes that could be interesting.  I like the idea of an extraction movie.  Black Widow is uncovered as the double agent she is...and Hawkeye comes to rescue her but gets over his head because spy stuff always goes wrong.

I'd see a solo Black Widow movie depending that it looks good, of course, but I've found Black Widow to usually be one of the most interesting characters in both The Avengers movies and Captain America films as well. Plus, it would give me a chance to get some more use out of my Black Widow cosplay outfit.

A Black Widow movie would have to be a SHIELD led Avengers covert ops movie, hopefully co-starring Hawkeye, and quarterbacked by Fury homself. (w/ cameo's from AoS characters - like Mockingbird, Fitz, Coulson, etc etc)

I think they should do a series of shorts revolving around her and Hawkeye completing covert OPS missions inbetween all the movies, or even the off camera stuff they were doing during the movies.

I know tons of people would have killed for several 10 minutes Hawkguy Bro shorts before the movies or on the DVD's or even as a limited Netflix series.

and speaking of shorts, once IW is all done, I woudl love if they did a series of shorts on the DVD release that depicted what Thanos was up to since his 1st appearance in Avengers, and how he was orchestrating things that led to him finally just saying "**** it, I'll do it myself", that's of course assuming they dont' cover it in the 2 movies he will start in in 2018 & 2019.

Really, the biggest complaint I am picking up is that it is not as amazing as the previous Netflix/Marvel material. It could very well be a case of the show being decent, but not Netflix/Marvel decent.

I tried not to read much... but the reviews are quite bad.

- LA Weekly: The Tragedy of Marvel’s Iron Fist

and just remember, Scott Buck, the Showrunner for Iron Fist, was also the showrunner that more or less destroyed Dexter, and is also the showrunner for the upcoming Marvel project already filming.... Inhumans.

maybe this one gets good in the 2nd half though...
it could be the opposite of Luke Cage, where the 1st half as excellent, and the 2nd half kinda took a turn for the looney tunes.

but the reviews don't just point out the "white savior" stuff, they also call it bad, and worst of all BORING. You can already see in the Colleen teaser that the fight choreography is quite bad, and for being a martial arts based show... that is not inspiring any confidence in this whatsoever.

I would love it if Marvel made a Hawkeye/Black Widow movie that was just straight up a spy thriller.  No magic, no superpowers, just straight James Bond/Mission Impossible in a pre-Avengers version of that world.  Cap2 was basically a spy thriller, and I think they could take it a step further.

Too bad about Iron Fist sucking.  The bad press with the casting, and apparently the star being forced to quit twitter, could've all been overcome with a good show.  And they don't seem to have it.

Yeah, and it also doesn't help that my wife watched the trailer and said it was just like Arrow. A pity it seems to be going the way it is, and it sounds like the actors are trying to defend the show and getting into some hot messes.

I just watched Iron Fist and enjoyed it. I didn't rush to watch it because of internet criticism. However, It was several good hours spent. The internet can suck it. I got sucked in by synth music.

Do you like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage? Well, continue watching the Defenders as we have been the whole time. Also, about the whole white savior thing. They don't even go much into his backstory. They talk about Kun Lun but they don't show it. He's a guy running around New York kicking ass. It's more of a fish out of water story like Thor where they don't show Asgard and Danny Rand is almost as weird as Taimak was on the Last Dragon. It's not like he's up in Japan Last Samurai style. The cast is about as ethnically diverse as you'd expect in New York. They really didn't retread the Batman Begins, Iron Man, and Dr. Strange plot.

I finished episode two last night and I'm enjoying it. I don't like how a certain predicament of Danny's is drug out as long as it has been, but I'm at least concerned over the characters and what happens to them.

I would like to see a Marvel series somewhat staged like Arrested Development season 4.  Various Marvel heroes doing their own things in every episode, occasionally interacting with one another, telling one story through the season.

That's actually what I thought Agents of Shield was going to be, with the Shield team chasing around after the bigger heroes for support and cleanup.

Yeah, Marvel has enough characters to have Twilight Zone esque episodes with their characters. They should do a Strange Tales or  Amazing fantasy series on Netflix, and then throw some of those characters in some mini series events.
Episodes could be an hour long or longer.

Or she could show up in the third act of the fourth Avengers film and defeat Thanos.
