DS: Excuse wasn't a game, it was laziness at it's finest. I try to pretend that this game didn't exist, and what's worse is that this game could've been a great third person shooter, but since third parties think we're stupid, we didn't get that.

When is EA due for another employee layoff bonanza?

What? You suck.   I just beat this game and it was awesome. That was a fucked up ending.  It isn't worth full on 50 but its worth probably 30. It has some of the coolest weapons I've seen in a game in a long time.

My house has a Move, the pointer controls are fine but just a bit delayed. Don't navigate the Playstation Menu with the controller its to hard, but it is pointerless. Sports Champions is their casual title, and something I like a lot better about it is that each sport has a lot more depth then it's Wii equivalent.

As far as quality of motion controls, I'd say its as good as WM+ but not much if any better.

800 points is a good deal I think. I'm not gonna watch anymore videos though, I have big problem with spoilers making games less fun for me -_-

Athough, they hold 15-30GB, so that would still leave Nintendo behind the competition...they should just go with Blu Ray.

Don't you understand that even that smaller space is overkill by far? Even the DVD format itself with its mere 9gb of storage is almost always well more than enough for most games.

Thats true until you add cinema scenes. A must for Square and Kojima support -_-

You say there are many problems with the Wii version, but the only problem we know of is that it won't have online play. If you think there are others, I would like to hear them.

We have a 55" Samsung LED TV. I'm getting the HD version. Period.

Just gonna wait for my 360 & PS3 friends to buy it, this is fail.

Any SD card should work or it would probably be a violation of the SD card license agreement.

So we're assuming High-capacity SD is also supported?

I also agree that TimeSplitters would be better. But I'd definitely go that party!

Well I actually really only enjoy the Metroidvanias in the Castlevania series and I actually I think Ecclesia is easily the best in the series.

10 in one day (like your original post says) is not that much, that is what I was talking about.

Oh okay. Yeah I mean, 10 in a day is decent if the content isn't repetitive. But sometimes NWR will post several times an hour of just video updates.  Thats all I'm saying.

No, that is not excessive. In fact, it's pretty common for websites. It's not spam either. What would you do if you were a normal person and subscribed to more people? Most people tend to follow at LEAST 10 people, it's rare to have a specific tweet appear for more than 12 hours. Simple solution, don't follow NWR if you don't want to see their Tweets.

Its common for news sites to send 5 tweets in the span of 10 minutes that all say roughly the same thing? So if you were subscribed to 5 major news sites you'd get 50 texts every 9 hours?

What do you do with Blue's Clues?

Really though, just don't follow them.  Check their site whenever you want to know what they're up to.  Follow people on twitter who say things you want to hear.  It's that easy.

And to both of you, I WANT to see their tweets just not the 70,000 video tweets there are. The news is nice and the coverage is really good at major events, but the video updates are just ridiculous. What about just "I uploaded 5 Kirby's Epic Yarn vids showing new power ups"

Its cool that its a good game and all, but its obvious its not Castlevania anymore, it's God O' War + Shadow O' Teh Molasses.  Castlevania being one my favorite series', this is stupid.

Here's exactly what I'm talking about, there have been 10 updates in the last 10 hours. At one point, between 12:20 and 12:29 PM (Pacific) there were FIVE twitter updates that said this:

Quote
I uploaded a YouTube video -- Kirby's Epic Yarn - Co-op gameplay #2 http://youtu.be/OfhHYrVpXQk?a
about 5 hours ago via Google
I uploaded a YouTube video -- Kirby's Epic Yarn - Fantasy Land http://youtu.be/ptvJX26vnPc?a

I uploaded a YouTube video -- Kirby's Epic Yarn - Co-op gameplay #1 http://youtu.be/xSkdd1MqZ2o?a

I uploaded a YouTube video -- Kirby's Epic Yarn - Rocket transformation http://youtu.be/tuRwcjaicLg?a
about 5 hours ago via Google
I uploaded a YouTube video -- Kirby's Epic Yarn - Power Mole transformation http://youtu.be/vpqM0dcmAyY?a

^ that isn't excessive at all?  I mean couldn't that be condensed A LITTLE?  Do you realize how irritating this can be coming into your mobile phone? Getting 5 messages in a super short time period that all say the same thing?  It's spam.

My friend and I watched the video and were pretty entertained by the last segment because it looks like a lot of stuff can be going on LOL. So I think it looks pretty cool.

Just wait for Mario Sports Mix? It might be better than Jam. Though its not NBA Jam...

SIMPLES. But having 512mb of space makes this difficult to do repeatedly.

The patch would only be a few bytes, but yes, you wouldn't want to have to do this for every game.  Though Nintendo's had no problem doing so when it came to blocking homebrew.

Or adding all those Korean IOSs in the last update the entire country of the United States didn't need -_-

How do you patch a game, which is loading a dual-layer DVD (featuring many gigabytes of teh Samus), onto a Wii with 512mb that could possibly be full?

1.  If Wii is full, don't install patch and tell user.
2.  When DVD is loading, check the ID on the disk. If ID match, run patch.

Done.

Nintendo never shut that guy down. This happened:

http://www.squidnews.com/2007/04/01/dampes-not-dead-ocarina-of-time-2d-creator-fakes-his-death/

Now "Dampe" randomly appears, says bullshit then dissapears. This project will never be unless a different team actually takes it seriously.

Hey I am a follower of the NWR twitter account,  I'm pretty sure I've been following it since it's inception. I wanted ask if it was possible NWR could poll the readers and see who actually cares about these posts: "I uploaded a YouTube video -- X tinyur.com/X"It seems like these come in all to often, they are like spam.  And I've never gone and watched one of the videos they've linked. I just watch next time I'm on a computer. Considering this is the only twitter account I follow, I think they post probably 10 times a day. Which is quite a lot. So I was kinda hoping NWR could reduce the number of posts.thanks.

Hey the Wiki article says this game was available as a flash game where it was sponsored by Nintendo of Europe!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chick_Chick_Boom

I'm glad to hear its 4 player multi, if it is pick up and play that helps too. I can try to get my household into the game if thats the case. It certainly sounds unique enough.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Wii Remote Plus?

At some point (not in the immediate future) Nintendo probably will combine their handheld and console lines into one single product. Consoles keep getting smaller, and at the same time handhelds keep getting more powerful. Eventually the two will intersect and at that point it would make absolutely no sense to maintain two separate products.

Why? Its like an excuse to release twice as many entries into an IP and thus sell more. I don't think they will do that.
