TalkBack / Re: Kirby Fighters Deluxe Review

My 6 year old struggled a bit with the main Kirby Triple Deluxe game, but he adored the fighters mini game. I'm definitely getting this for him.

Good grief. I hope Johnny is ignoring his detractors found in this thread. They certainly are a vocal minority, as this podcast continues to grow in popularity. RFN has in Johnny a bold and eloquent host who can keep the discussion interesting, on topic and moving fast. He's also very dedicated, serving as RFN host week after week. All that can't be easy, and this isn't his day job.

There are plenty of wannabe podcasts with distracted wimps for hosts, but RFN isn't one of them.

Welcome! I'd vote for NES Remix 2. It's so hot right now.

Episode 400 should be recorded in G.V.'s basement, with the full NWR staff participating in person. Schedule some PTO!

Oops. I meant full RFN staff. Gotta make this doable.

I'm curious whether any of the RFN crew listens to competing Nintendo podcasts. This one is heads and shoulders above the rest when it comes to 'contemplative podcasting,' but you can also be quite negative on Nintendo compared to the competition.
Anyway keep the podcasts rolling in. I love 'em.

I voted for ExciteBots because I figured it would make for a funny discussion. That game is nuts, man!

Good. The only problem is this: the font size remains too small to comfortably read on a 10" tablet, and Nicholas Bray isn't about to change it.

Hmm. Best not share that analogy with your spouse.

This was the best issue yet, and I've read them all. James' article really sums up my own thoughts on digital vs physical games. The nerd article was hilarious, and the retro reviews are a great way to reconnect with awesome (or terrible) old games.

Now if I can only get the editor to increase the font size so the thing is comfortable to read on a tablet, which - by the way - is what everbody is reading this magazine on.

Nintendo has a knack for discovering great development studios and nurturing them into powerhouses. Glad to see Monster doing so well. I've been happy with the (several) Monster-developed games I own.
