PlanetGameCubeSuccessor?
« on: February 02, 2003, 06:02:47 PM »
I am just curious if the staff here is going to be continuing on with Nintendo's next console.  Without a question this is the greatest Nintendo fan site ever, and I would really like to see a continuation of this when GameCube is replaced.  I realize that I am way too early once again, but I would still like to know the staff's thoughts on this, because ironically.... a fansite has fans too.
Once I had, a little game
I liked to crawl back into my brain
I think you know the game I mean

Heh. Well I don't even want to think about the next system.  Let's survive this console first .

WTF Frankenbump.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Bummer Grey Ninja didn't stay long enough to keep his word of being here when the "next generation" came. I wish I knew Grey Ninja. He was gone by the time I got here.

Pity you missed Grey by a few years. I even managed to disappear for a solid year after Grey went missing.

What was Grey like? Was he cool? When I joined, it seemed to me like he was pretty popular.

When did he leave? Let's see, I joined about a year ago maybe? I'll check. My first post was in the Avatar Discussion.

Oh yeah! This was hard to find, but I joined January 31 (as Spike). I lost access to spike and became mysticspike. My first post was actually about HALF a year ago. So yeah, how long before I joined did Grey leave?

Years.  And Grey Ninja would have hated you; absolutely hated you.

Planetgamecube.com doesn't redirect to NWR for me any more, this sucks.

doesn't redirect for me either, must be done. I got so used to typing planetgamecube, that when the changeover happened and it would still take me to NWR then I just continued relying on my muscle memory

The real question here is why are you people still typing out the address of a site that they visit regularly? Come into the 90s and use a bookmark or two.

because in opera, u only need to type first few letters and it finds results from your bookmark
Im use to typing "pl" then clicking on pgc link
much harder with nin, as there are a few nintendo* sites in my bookmarks :P

Then how about we update the bookmarks? For a website about discussing current affairs in the gaming world, people are very keen on living in the past.

I only use bookmarks for pages with obscure URLs that I'll forget.  No point cluttering up my bookmarks with sites like NWR where I never have to look up the address.

That's just the way I am.  My best friend's phone number isn't in my cellphone because I just know it.
