I'm just waiting for the day Pro Daisy mocks Beyond Good and Evil 2 failing.

Karma is just like that, so it seems. (IE: Wii was ignored)

Don't remind me. I weep every time I remember that BG&E 2 is HD exclusive. Especially when I hear that the Gamecube version sold the best. Same as with Prince of Persia and Soul Calibur.

I like those concept pieces in the link ShyGuy posted.

I'm not a fan of those games you mentioned, so their absence isn't as heart-breaking to me. I did, however, like BG&E and the world it presented (though it was a bit heavy on the green shading) but Ubi's iggnorance will cost them heavily. This game deserves to fail, not because Ubi has treated us stupidly, but the artowkr is just horrid. Realism does NOT work in BG&E.

But... I'm not humorous enough to mock it. Pro Daisy? Sure. Bill Aurion? Oh wait, he left... ;_;

We need Bill to come back, seriously.

I really loved Red Steel one.  I played it a few months after launch, so I was used to the whole "aiming" thing  8).  There was some really cool stuff going on that could be beefed up.  I liked that you could approach the mission order however you wanted, and would like to see more of that.  There was some great set pieces, the rabbit thing and the air duct shoot out are really standing out in my mind.  There was a lot of real effort in that game, even though it seemed rushed.  What I loved the most was that taking dudes down was just so easy.  It was so easy to drop people with the pistol, 20 minutes in it was all headshots and I felt like a real action star!

I hope this one fares better, but development team switch makes me uneasy.

New info about it's cancellation.

Technically, the game was already canceled. But a new version of the game went into production and that's the one we should be getting.

Either that, or it will be on rails...or a multiplayer mini game fest.

I know what you meant by this but it gave me an idea. It'd be pretty cool if they took the setting to the era of pirates.

That's what I meant. Apparently, the first concept was not working at all, so they scrapped that one and started all over again.

And I HOPE it gets delayed. The problem with the first one was that it was rushed so it could be ready for launch. The concept was good, all it needed was more time in the oven.

It's already been scheduled for release before March 2010. In total, the game has had almost three years of development. I think that's plenty. Especially for a sequel.

True, that should have been more than enough time to fix the gameplay, especially if they used the same engine as the first game.

Now, I admit I forgave the game's flaws because it was rushed to launch but had a lot of great ideas. However, if the second game still shows the same flaws as the first game there's no excuse there. Fans are very sour with Ubi (as well as every other third party developer), so they need to make this game as good as they can.

Ninjas <  Pirates.

I fixed the error in your post buddy. Don't worry, I got your back there. ;)

My only fear is that RS2 news will be delayed by Nintendo keeping motion plus under wraps.

There is a version of the EA Tennis game that is releasing with the M+ so that confirms that the game will be out by June.

It will be an on rails multiplayer mini-game fest! All the fun in one game disk!

it'll be an on rails multiplayer mini-game edutainment title and due to technical limitations of the wii, it'll be released on a gamecube disc

It will also be programmed in Flash and the box art will make you think it's an exercise game (No balance board support)

It will also come in two parts, the second part is small enough that it will be a 100 point download on WiiWare.
