Maybe Ubisoft is actually doing the right thing and giving this game time to be developed into something more than mediocre. Oh, and they also need good level designers.

How many times do they need to confirm that Red Steel 2 is in development?

It's the confirmation of hearing news about a third party hardcore game that's welcome.

There was another recomfirmation that Red Steel 2 is coming and they promise better AI, online, better graphics.

I hope they get new artists. More and more, the art from the old one grates on me as stereotype-driven and... well... as if the artist had never seen asian people before... in a way only truly horrible voice acting can surpass.

I've got no objections to their "occidental take on Japan" vibe. I can handle the "fun" of playing with stereotypes... just... gah. I had difficulty thinking the people in the comic-book cut scenes of the first one were japanese. They looked like some sort of sino-mongolian to me...
