Networking Question
« on: April 17, 2010, 09:32:45 PM »
I'm thinking about getting a Slingbox so that I'll be able to watch TV from my cable at home, with far more channels than I currently get and a DVR, at school. The cable box I would connect it to at home would not be possible to connect to via wired connection, but I have an 802.11n network in place, which should be fast enough. The problem is that the Slingbox doesn't have WiFi, just Ethernet. I'd like to know what kind of equipment I'd need to connect it to my wireless network.

At parties, talk to people who have better jobs than you. Wait, what?

Hook it up to a wireless router or access point and put it in bridge mode.
