In your Windows directory there should be a file system32\drivers\etc\hosts (no extension). Open that with a text editor. It's a table that tells the system the IP addresses for specific addresses and is referenced before any DNS query is made. 127.0.0.1 is always your own computer so it'd redirect any attempts to load intellitxt to your own computer which has no idea what that website wants from it and just closes the connection. Result: No more Intellitxt. If you were to add some annoying ad provider there you could replace their ads with red Xs (in IE).

Happy days are here again.  Once again I can disable IntelliTXT.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Just noticed they're back, without the option to disable them now.

I don't see it, either.

you can no longer disable it.

The fact that I'm not seeing it seems to disprove that.

Fine--you can no longer disable it without toying around with your Windows directory.

which browser are you using?

On one computer I use IE, iNTellitext will not go away, and I really don't want to mess with my Windows registry as my computer is messed up enough as it is.

On the other computer I use FireFox, first computer freezes when trying to use FF, but iNTellitext does not show up and neither does any other ad on anysite at all, it great.

No registry changing necessary, just change the HOSTS file.

What do you call a deer without an eye?

A deer with poor depth perception!

...actually, deers don't have depth perception, do they? Okay, then a deer who has trouble making right turns. Assuming the eye it doesn't have is on the right side.

...Or is that 'isn't on the right side'?

I tried your suggestions and neither one worked.    Anything else I should try?  IntelliTXT has taken over my beloved gonintendo.com.  Whatever am I to do?

For gonintendo.com it'd be 127.0.0.1 gonintendo.us.intellitxt.com . Apparently the wildcards don't work so you'll have to modify that line for each site that annoys you (or get a plugin that kills all requests to any intellitxt.com address).
