Server busy?

I'm getting alot of these today:

Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

Maintenance, or something else?

It's been driving me insane.  Half of the time, maybe a little more, that I click a link, I get that, too.

Yeah, recently I've been having to wrastle with the server to get to this site as well.  NWR hates me confirmed.  :(
