On a side note, I would really hate the be the Ant Man movie after the Avengers 2. I mean how do you compete with that movie? Or after Guardians...will the audience appreciate this movie?

It was idiotic beyond belief. Simmons as a character is broken. The writers no longer have any idea who Simmons is nor have any idea what to do with her.

But that Skye fight scene.

That was.... by far the best fight scene the show has done.
Very Daredevil-esque.

I want to find a gif or clip of it.

edit: Skye was John Wick in The Raid. Scene was completely unexpected and all the more awesome because of it.

While I don't mind him dead, just that it was an asinine place, time and method, not forgetting how badly out of character she is now. It also wasn't her call and she destroyed an asset for no gain. Its almost like the writers are fucking her character over so the actor would quit so they can kill her off.

Ward destroyed her. He almost killed her and Fitz. He really screwed up Fitz (which she partially blames on herself for Fitz trying to save her). These actions broke them both completely - something which she has never came back from.

I don't think considering everything Ward did that it was out of character. Everyone has their limits, and Ward pushed her beyond hers.

It would make sense if there was some proper development like they had for Fritzs. Making her mental and dumb isn't development, it's bad writing.

Maybe it looks better on TV but that scene looked pretty terrible in my opinion. Too choreographed it looked like something Michael Jackson would do in a concert or something.

Well, it was a one take scene done with the actual actress.
It wasn't perfect, but I think it was well done.

definite step up for the show, and another MAJOR leap forward for Skye as a character.

Age of Ultron was awesome. I wonder if Quicksilver is really dead though - after all, we did see Dr. Cho during the last scene, but we did not see Quicksilver when the new Avengers team was revealed. The mid-credits scene was a little too brief and before the light revealed Thanos putting on the gauntlet, I thought the silhouette looked like Ultron. Now the long wait for the next MCU (besides Ant-Man) movie starts...

they showed all that stuff for a reason, and they never confirmed death.

Movie was good, but I still think Cap2 hold the title.
Ultron was surprising non-menacing towards the end, more comedic in his failings.
Lots of humor, some was on point. Hawkeyes self evaluation during his pep talk to Scarlet Witch was pretty funny too.
