Howdy,
I was wondering what up with Samus not taking her suit off at the end of Metroid Prime, like they did in the Super Nintendo? Do you think they were saving it for Prime 2?

Considering she's fused with Chozo blood and has a work routine of a Navy SEAL, Samus would look like He-Man, but with Barbie's head, so NO, I don't care for an image of Samus in a bikini.

i hated fusion. even if it wasnt a metroid game, i would still hate it. it strayed way too far from the metroid formula

What are you talking about?! Metriod Fusion was great, truely almost at the mark of the greatest Metriod to date Super Metriod.....it was too short though.

Metroid Fusion is definetley one incredible Metroid game, but aside from it being too short it was far too linear. Anyway, aside from how good Metroid Fusion was, if you got the best ending you got to see slightly more anime Samus in a skimpy little bikini.

Yes, I saw it, and when you try to fit that with Samus work conditions and her ability to keep up with those conditions, it makes a little sense but you realize she should be more buff.  She's nothing short of a Rambo.

perhaps the chozo dont need lots of muscle to be strong and hence look a little more soft than you would expect, arn't they bird like creatures? if so they prolly have hollow bones which means samus can jump about with ease (provided the blood... ate her bone marrow or something..) and yeah the suit would help a bit, like the jet things she has on her back near her shoulder blades.

They didn't put it in because it wouldn't make sense for Samus to start stripping on her ship while watching the Chozo temple explode.  The helmet was enough for me.

And fit girls don't have to be masculine.  You know all those beautiful actresses and supermodels.  They work out a lot to look like that.  I imagine they're quite strong, so Samus doesn't necessarily have to look manly to be strong.

Yah, and Chozo are bird people, so I imagine that'd make her even sleeker, if it changed her appearance at all.

Hostile: Samus still found time to strip down to a skimpy bikini while escaping a self-destructing satellite in Metroid Fusion. It's not supposed to be part of the story, man, just a cool little reward for doing good in the game.

Metroid Fusion ending images

Metroid 1-3 ending images (there is a link within the pages for the specific games)

In Metroid Prime she doesn't take off the whole suit, but if you beat it with 75% or more she takes off the helmet.

Oh, there was this thread about how someone said that the franchise was getting milked what with Four Swords GC and Tatra's Trackers. The name of the thread was "Zelda GEtting milked", and one guy mentioned how he thought the thread wasn't what he thought it was *wink wink*. So i just drew this pic, emailed it to Grey Ninja, and he linked his post to an edited version.
Might as well say that I drew it.

I was pretty upset about not seeing Samus in a bikini in Prime. It's a tradition that the best ending in every Metroid game shows Samus in a bikini for gods sake. For some stupid reason Retro decided they had to make Prime different though.
