Megaman exe 7
« on: July 20, 2006, 03:27:58 AM »
Picture

Jeux france has the first ingame picture up, noticed a few sites said it was a new "megaman series" game
but it they bothered looking, has the exe crew but around 17years old

looks pretty cool

New things, baised on pics:
battles are now in 3rd view 3D (top screen is 3D while bottom is chips)
VR glasses (cyberspace inside towns)

So much for 6 being the last, with the "growing up" ending

Actually, I'm pretty sure the series is different, even if the characters resemble the ones from the EXE series.  Notice how the crazy mowhawk kid actually seems to be Mega Man in the battle screens?  That goes along with the plot details I've heard of the kid fusing with some alien armour or something like that.

Personally, though, I want traditional Mega Man games, preferably with the original Mega Man, but I'll take ZX if that's all I can get.
That's my opinion, not yours.
Now Playing: The Adventures of Link, Super Street Fighter 4, Dragon Quest IX

Wait, I thought that was the ZX storyline.

Ok this is what I know and have heard.  Anything to do with the "Fusing" of armor comes from the absolutely new series ZX.  This one I do not even think is going to be called Exe.  They wanted to start from scratch with the Exe series.  They figured if they had to start on a new system they wanted to appeal to a new fanbase by recreating a new storyline and plot.  In matter of fact I would not  be surprised if this was like 100 years later after the Megaman Exe storyline.  If I remember the link where I got this info I will post it back up here.

no ZX is heavy baised on EXE
chip system in exe allows rockman to fuse to data from badguys and bosses
Rockman stream (3rd series of exe) was the birth of that, and even thats about 3series behind now, and there far advanced into it

There are same group of friends just with a new art style, i doubt it could be 100years unless there ment to be clones
and the exe manga is still going well in japan, Zero only just featured in it in his gamecube network look, so who knows maybe he will be in this game

Another one, gah... I bought the first one on GBA and got bored with it.  I bought the GCN version and while I finished it, I didn't like it.  Capcom really needs to stop with the sequels after sequels.
