Just started the second dungeon. I have a prediction. This is potentially a massive spoiler. I am of the opinion that Illia orchestrated the attack on Ordon village and/or is the real twilight princess.

It's not her.  It's not Zelda either.  The real Twilight Princess has been with you ever since you made your jailbreak.

Alright, this is a really stupid question.  The guy that was turned into a Gold Statue (Giovanni), how do I get back to him after the initial visit?

Crimm: You have to be Wolf Link first. When going south from Hyrul Castle Town's center, take the first left (Link's right, your left) and look for the house that has cats in front of it. It's visible on the map since it's a square patch of land off the alleyway. Dig into the ground on the upper right corner.

Just finished the seventh dungeon. My god, my brain is numb from the clawshot puzzles. I was pretty much cruising through each dungeon until then! I'll save the twilight mirror cinematics for tomorrow.

You know here I thought that Zelda was the princess and Midna was the queen and we find out in the end that what was really happening is that it was all just a domestic dispute.

I'm only at the Water Temple but they gave away Zelda to early to make it really her.

I've only found the finishing blow technique...  I want to find more but I just haven't been able to...

It's the funny Statues with the holes.... Welp... I've just finished the 3 light spirits so I quess it will be a while before I get to try to get the rest of them.

Last night before going to bed, I brought that one statue down to the door in the Temple Of Time.  Hopefully when I load my game I won't have to do that again.  And I'm guessing I'll be hitting up some major plot points soon.

It's kind of hard to miss the stones, but the first few I didn't know what to do with them.  I later went back and got a few one after another, even without specifically hunting for them, and now I have six skills with the last one I got being at Snowpeak.

The fortune teller makes it too easy to locate Pieces of Heart, but maybe I should be thankful for it since I probably have to scour the world anyway to get Poe Souls.  Unless there's a way to easily find those too.  >_>

There's something extremely satisfying about smashing ice creatures with the ball and chain.  Also, the spinner is really cool, especially in that one insane boss fght.

I'm almost finished.  I'm saving the last area for when I have time to truly savor it.  That said, the rest is in spoilers so I can gush ...

OMG ... This is every bit the best Zelda game ever.  I love the nice homage to Ocarina when you enter the real Temple of Time for the first time, I think I had a little joygasm there.    I'm quite disappointed that you don't ever have to collect any parts of the Triforce, because that's one of the main things I associate with a Zelda game.  Other than that, this game is an absolute masterpiece, and I've enjoyed every second of it, even the frustrating parts!

Hostile: don't worry, I've been playing for almost 20 hours and I'm not even up to the third dungeon yet.  Plus, I have to go back to focusing on real life, I wasted too much time on Wii last week.  And the GameCube types won't even get to play for a couple of weeks yet.

Between the second and third dungeons: The Zora domain (whatever it's called in this game) is HUGE.  I can't imagine what it will be like to get around now that I'm done.  I can't wait to ride down the river on the boat.  The scene where Link finally catches up to Ilia but she doesn't recognize him was wicked.   And the soldiers all cheering and growling when they offer to help Ilia was hilarious.  Howling is awesome.  The chuckwagon escorting mission is fun.
That's my opinion, not yours.

I guess so.  But I kept on staring at Telma's chest.  Hey, it's not like they tried to hide what's she's got or anything.

I was fearing the escort mission because I had less than half a heart the first time I did the bridge duel and also the time on the bridge above Lake Hylia trying to avoid the fire so I died instantly on both my first failed attempts and have come to naturally fear bridges now.

I agree with Rick.  The Temple Of Time is awesome.  I'm not going to argue to continuity and connectivity of the various Zelda games but I like how the Master Sword is both in the Lost Woods (or Sacred Grove) and the Temple Of Time.

The game is very, very good.  I'll save my final judgment for when I'm done, but as I'm so stubborn it may not dethrone A Link To The Past (I like 2D games) as my favorite or even surpass Ocarina Of Time (which was groundbreaking at the time).  And nostalgia and timing are important when rating games on an all-time favorites list, but strictly looking at the game itself, it does many things better, so I'd heartily recommend it for anyone who likes adventure games at all.

Some of the Zelda games should be absolutely required gaming when they one day make a mainstream university course about video games, or there should be a specific course all about them, kind of how when I took film classes there were courses on specific directors or themes.  Can you tell I love the series so?

And to think people were complaining about the delay, controls, which hand Link uses, and mirrored worlds.  Seriously.  I do think the double-dipping is silly, though, this is reason enough to own a Wii this year, and probably next year too.

I'm also between the second and third dungeons right now, and I think I'm at about thirteen or fourteen hours.  The other night I was playing WiiSports with my friends, and they asked to see Zelda before they left.  I showed them, and when they left it, I played it for about four straight hours: to 5:15 in the morning.  I played all the way through Kakariko Village (I'd saved at collecting twilight bugs, so I finished that), mounted battle, sumo wrestling, Death Mountain, the entire second dungeon, and maybe a little bit more.  I am loving this game.
Nintendo must have known how much I loved rooftop hopping in Ocarina of Time's Kakariko Village.  I love the design of the new one, climbing as high as I can, shooting arrows into poles, hot springs; it felt so awesome to restore the town, to see people in it.  One of my favorite things about Zelda.
I can't play for the entire week, because I'm at school and left my Wii at home.  But come this weekend, I will play hours.  Hopefully up through the third dungeon.

Yeah, more like Legend of Zelda: Cleavage Princesses.  I had the same issue with the lady who runs the river boat thing, and Talo and Malo's mom (though she's not particularly attractive).

Oh, and the fire on the bridge was "cheap", I died 2-3 times there.  Doesn't bother me too much except that in previous Zeldas, you could play through without dying as long as you were careful.  In this one...not so much.

I also nominate that creepy, baby-like Malo to be Tingle's official successor.

Ceric, no, what signs?

Odilon, indeed you can do that to boulders.

I think there should be a thread for those that have finished Zelda, obviously it will need a giant spoiler warning.
