Nintendo's selling lots of consoles tho Christmas. Every time I've walked into a store this week, they've either been out of Wii U's, or somebody has been in the middle of buying the last one. The Wii U is finally turning around; I am seeing it with my own eyes. Plus, Nintendo really seems to have struck gold with those amiibo!

Smash Bros. menu themes are live in North America as of November 21... four of them! They're really nice, too.

This has been out for about 24 hours already. I had friends on Miiverse who were pretty displeased about it deleting their replay data.

I ran out on day one to buy tho game for my N64. Played it for two days and couldn't stand how nebulous the puzzles were. Ultimately got frustrated, took it out of my N64, and never played it again. To this day I'm stunned that it has such passionate fans. It's the one and only game in the entire series that I just could not get into.

If we can transfer Amiibo save data to the Wii U when using Amiubo for other games, I could see this not being a really big deal. Inconvenient, yes, like all the fridge cleaning we had to do with the Wii before SD storage was finally updated, but at least we wouldn't have to lose all the data we've worked to create. Ultimately, though, we'll probably start seeing more game-specific Amiibos. This first series is really meant to be Smash Bros.-centric.

Spak, I don't know what you're angry about. One figure DOES work with multiple games. This chart just shows you which figures are compatible with which games. It's not even implying that you have to, say, buy two Mario Amiibos to use with Smash and MK8. You can use the same figure with both games, so your consternation confuses me.

This sale has been a giant steaming pile of horse crap. ALL the games were totally sold out (online and in stores, since I just learned that all the online shipping is done from the stores!) within 24 hours. 24 hours!! How can they have a week-long sale without sufficient stock to last 24 hours? I'm pissed. I emailed Best Buy about this situation three days ago. So far, crickets. I may never shop at Best Buy again after this bullshit.

I chose DKC Returns 3D and I'm loving it, but there are other games on the list that I'd still love to add to my digital library. Just let me know...
