Interesting.  Wandering just PMed me, and needs to know what is going on.  Wandering I am a townie, Dasmos could be a townie, but we don't know.

But the tie is complicating things.  I wish I checked my computer sooner but I was studying...stupid school started.

Interesting...now there is still a tie, and RABicle would be killed?

If that is the case this is a fun day...perhaps RAB is a Mafia member thinking he can hide and hasn't read all the rules.

So wait, I thought wandering had to vote to break the tie. Not just cast a vote to not die.

Yes. Wandering or RAB have to vote to break the tie or they will still be killed.

Hmmm...Khush I think we are now seeing the problem with rule.  Wandering has technically voted and he didn't want to be responsible for choosing someone's death.  But he participated in the daily vote.

Now RAB has not...so is he the only one that risks death?  What if RAB picked ShyGuy and tied it 3 ways (Don't think that is possible) but what if...then it goes to a switch vote?

I think Wandering should be safe, and RAB not if he does not vote.

True but the rule clearly states: "Anyone who has not voted that day has 15 minutes after the deadline to vote for one of the people tied up."

So, the vote must be for one of the people. The reason being, that's who most people voted for. If people wanted RABicle dead, they should have voted RABicle. Killing RAB isn't what the people. One of the people is what most of the people want. The only reason I'm killing off non-voting players is to keep more situations like this from arising.

It's amazing how I forsaw ties happening. So glad I posted this rule since The Contessa doesn't want to use her ability.

Yes but since I sent Wandering a message at 9:02 to let him know how things are working with resolving ties, I'm giving him a few more extra minutes to see the message and decide if he wants to change his vote.

Yes, but I still argue it is a bogus rule.  The people don't want Wandering or RABicle to die...they voted Dasmos and Spak-Spang.  By having this rule, you have negated the vote by not even allowing those that voted a chance to change after the tie is determined.

Wandering didn't want the responsibility of killing a townie.  Obviously, if the mafia didn't act, they aren't losing a player.

I think this is a rule that has a flaw and it has showed its head.

DEATH TO A TOWNIE!!!!!

Oh well.  I made a bad play.  Thank you for playing the game y'all.

And Wandering, I understand you hold no responsibility for my death.

If everyone voted, then they would have the chance to change a vote. The rule punishes non-voters first, then it decides the tie. Frankly, other people can see a tie is happening and could change their votes before the deadline but didn't/ The Contessa could use her ability but didn't. If Bond has a wristwatch, he can use that to remove a vote. He didn't. This is the last recourse.

The rules forces the non-voters to play. If they don't want to decide ties, then they can vote early and before the deadline.

I forget what roles are what when they don't have generic names.

Oh, and Khush that is fine.  I understand your logic, I just don't agree with it totally.

The Contessa is not mafia. The Contessa is the whore. I tried to class it up a bit.

Night actions are due.
