i think next year for the battle only 1 character per series should be able to enter, would make it more interesting and alow more games to compete, Guybrush Threepwood deserves a spot damnit!

If you had a 128 character battle and included varieties of different chars, I would be pretty sure that the top 32 would be Nintendo franchises vs. Final Fantasy vs. some random characters. I think what Gamefaqs did is fine.

There has to be cheating- if Mario could defeat Crono, who I guarantee you is more popular than Cloud, Link has to be able to win.

It's only mid-day anyway- we saw that anything can happen right up to the last minute.

If Gamefaqs had put a picture of SCII's Link instead of WW's Link, Cloud would be in the dust. But oh well, it's not decided yet and Cloud vs. Sephiroth for the final round doesn't sound too bad.
