It makes sence, this one was rushed to meet a deadline for a movie, Ultimate Destruction wasn't

I also got Darkrai, I think I was the oldest person in line :S  I used my 5$ off coupon to buy Word Coach DS for 5 bucks.  I think this is the only 3rd party game I own!  Anyways, I tried to use Darkrai in Battle Revolution in an online battle to try him out, and it wouldn't let me, does anyone know why?  I've fought several Darkrai's online before, why can't I use mine?

What do you mean stand in line?  When I got Manaphy I was able to download it from the bathroom.

so... what was the bleeped word.

Anyway, I only listen to 3 podcast and in order from what I think is best to least goes as follows

1. NWR
2. GoNintendo
3. IGN

IGN is so unenthusiastic in their podcasts that I only listen to them because they've played games that haven't been released yet, and for little slips of exclusive news (like the Kid Icirus Game)

GoNintndo is more of just a bunch of funny guess messing around while reading news, reader-mail, and guessing what music is from which old game.  It's like your podcast if it wasn't organized.

Plus: Greg FTW!!!!!!

TalkBack / Re: Capcom and Bionic Games Unveil Wii Exclusive Spyborgs
« on: June 10, 2008, 01:14:03 AM »
My only worry is that it looks like it's based off of a Saturday Morning Cartoon.
That's on purpose it seems. DJing in the middle of a fight FTL.

What I meant is that people will think that its a mediocre game based on a TV show they've never heard of and pass it up, no matter how good it is.

Then you would've asked for gameplay footage if they didn't show the trailer.  Sheesh, be happy with what you've got.

I'm wondering if this will be another Zack & Wiki.  A great 3rd party game that everyone overlooks.  My only worry is that it looks like it's based off of a Saturday Morning Cartoon.

I don't know you guys but the art style in that trailer looks blah.

It doesn't even look like an "Art Style" at all.  It looks like they're going for realism.  Well, as realistic as a human-pig can look.

Ancel doesn't crop out the Rabbid games.  The franchise was taken out of his control.  He's bitter over not making his Rayman adventures anymore.

That's news to me, was it revealed with info of that new Rabbid game?  Because from what I heard he loved making those mini-game collections.

I've got my friend yelling at me to not use Olimar because I purely dominate with him.  From what I hear some people have a lot of trouble with him so is that what balances him out?

Something I figure with snake's and Pits up B moves is that there left venerable for a while since those moves aren't attacks.

The trailer looks like its call CG so what system its on is completely up in the air it seems.  Seriously, if Ancel is going to just crop out Rabbid games every year  to fund this game and it doesn't end up on the Wii I hope it freaken Bombs again.  Seriously, It pisses me off when developers put out the small projects on Wii to fund the big project they're going to put the most effort into then I with the worst for them.  Its exactly what Rockstar has been doing and I'll be super pissed off it Such a brilliant guy like Mr. Ancel is following the trend.

TalkBack / Re: Activision Officially Reveals Guitar Hero World Tour
« on: May 28, 2008, 08:07:20 PM »
Since FFCC:MLAAK (wow, even abbreviated its hella long) seems to have launched the Pay to Play "service" (logo and everything) it seems DLC is now available for devs.  I fully believe it'll have commercial DLC when it launches.

No matter what I'm still going to call it Guitar Hero 4, World Tour I just find awkward to say and it's not really necessary of a name change.

I wonder how long those cymbal pads will last.
You can actually read the article in this pic:

Seriously now, with how gimped the Wii Rock Band is, Guitar Hero > Rock Band when it comes to Wii.  (Or every system if this works out well)

General Gaming / Some real Guitar Hero IV info

Guitar Hero 4 (PS3, 360, Wii, PS2)
- Create a song. Although these exclude vocals due to storage and possible copyright issues.
- You'll be able to name your song as well as creating album art. After you've done all that you can upload it to GH Tunes where anyone can download it.
- You'll be limited to 5 songs at first. But depending on the ratings you get you'll possibly be able to upload 10 or more.
- The song sharing mode will be in the Wii and PS2 versions also, but GI says it's unlikely that it'll be as robust as the PS3 and 360 versions.
- Drums, bass, vocals guitar
- Create a rocker
- Create a guitar and drums
- All songs will be master tracks
- They don't want to discuss specifics on track listing out of fear of being scooped by the competition. However they confirmed 4 bands: Van Halen, The Eagles, Linkin Park and Sublime.
- A new guitar designed by Red Octane that includes a new input mechanic that'll "impact the way you play GH in the future".
- GI saw see through notes while playing that Neversoft said was the new input mechanic and that they were trying to patent.

To be honest, with how Gimped the Rock Band Version of Wii is, I'm glad Guitar Hero 4 is going with the whole Drums and Vocal thing.

I'd bet my Wii that thoes are indeed real and here's why, IGN whe seems to know alot about the game (more then we know anyway) were talking about it in there newest podcast.  First Matt says its one of his top three most wanted Wii games and says that whoever working on the game will make it look "pretty"  Then later on he talks about Facter 5 and says they are working on one of the titles Matt mentioned in his top 3.  Basecally its pretty obvious that a new Kidd Icarus is coming and from IGN's clues its being made by Factor 5.  Part of the rumer with the art states that Facter 5 has a part in the game and if that part is true I beleve the Concept art is also.  Plus, with Factor 5 having made Lair, I'm sure they're pretty willing to to stay with the midevil/Fanticy theam.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Everybody's Nintendo Channel

One question for those that have a somewhat weak broadband connection (512 K and the like). When you try to watch a video, does it constantly stop in order to refresh and load the rest of the footage?

While I love the channel so far I don't like how it keeps pausing, and I believe its because the internet connection is slow, and transmitting it through Wi-fi signals could weaken it even further.

That happened to me at first, now its not much of a problem for me and everything runs fine.

I like the game but the disc reading is completely ridiculous. The game makes so much external noise, and it can't be good for the Wii. Simply unacceptable.

I don't think its the game, I think you need to get your Wii checked.  My Wii broke after it starded making loud noise as it read the disk.

Well I guess I'm one of the few who actually really likes the SSE. Me and my sister have already beaten it, start to finish, twice and are working our way up the difficulties (Intense is... quite interesting so far).

*shrugs* I guess I have always been a fan of mindless beat-em ups like Final Fight and what not, as has my sister, so the SSE feels right at home to us.

Actually, your not alone there, I actually loved the SSE and never had had a lot of fun with it (and we both also like Godzilla, wowee).  I beat it on hard my first time, beat it 100%, and now plan to play it again on intense.  I guess I'm just very good at the game.

Best cut-scean goes to the airship battle. (drool)
