I was really hoping for a good sized 3DS Card Case.  Oh well... though Grill Off with Ultrahand being 80 Coins and Fluidity being 150 are tempting.

So, the update is all live and such... and I don't like it.

Actually, I do - except for one thing.  How come there's no year on the expiration of my "To-Do" list items?

I know I went through and finished everything up from this year, but I had several items in there (51, to be exact) that I haven't done and I'm waiting to do (some don't expire until 2015).  Without a year listed, I have no way of knowing when I need to do them.

I can only assume this was done on purpose.

I've already sent my complaint to customer support and suggest everybody do the same. Do we need to start Operation Coinfall?

It's somewhat unusual to get a direct reply on the Tech forums, so I'm hopeful from the fact that I actually got one...

The site's either buggy or it's getting hit super-hard.
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

Same here.

150 Club Nintendo Coins = 1200 Nintendo Points? Sweet!  That's awesome value for one of the best WiiWare games around.

I think it's just getting slammed. I tried logging on twice, to no avail, but when I tried again late West Coast time it was smooth. Just wait for the East Coast to get to bed, I guess.

Yeah, I had a discussion over PM with Jane about how the forum system has had that bug since the old forums were put into place. Unfortunately, somebody already had the name I wanted.

Club Nintendo is still giving me the "currently unavailable" message. Is it still down for anyone else, or should I consider trying something to get it working for me?

So a couple of things that shouldn't be bugging me but they are:

1) I got the email about the calendar I ordered having a misspelled November - but I never got the calendar to begin with.

2) I haven't gotten the coins yet for the Ambassador GBA games... does the new to-do list have a 16-item capacity?

Did you ever hear back? I'm curious what kind of answer they would give. I'm thinking of sending an email asking about it, if they haven't responded elsewhere. If I click the link I get the message "Sorry 'techforums.nintendo.com' does not exist or is not available."

I don't have them either, and I haven't really heard of anyone who does. They're either not out yet, or Nintendo decided to not give them out for this batch.

This is very interesting.

On the 23rd, I shot a PM to NoA Jane asking if she had found anything.  She replied that she had and had actually replied to the thread on the previous day.

I quickly looked at her reply and planned to address it once I had time to deal with it (i.e., tonight).

When I went back today to check it, I'm pretty sure the reply has changed.

In both versions of the reply, there's the typical "your call is very important to us" language that tells me, pretty much, we are not getting our year back in our expiration dates.

However, in the version I swore I read the other day, Ms. Jane included a link for giving feedback regarding Club Nintendo.  This paragraph/link is no longer there.

I would almost think I'm making this up... except that her reply in the thread is dated December 26th... and our PM exchange happened on the 23rd (where she said she replied the previous day).

So, basically, I'm pretty much going to say, we're SOL in having a reasonable way to determine our survey end dates on these older surveys.

Aren't the expiration dates for new games a lot sooner? Like, less than a year? If so, seeing the year isn't important for those, but it does screw things up for people stockpiling older surveys, a practice I'm sure Nintendo doesn't want to encourage.

This is pretty much it, in a nut shell... which is why I'm sitting on six games I haven't even registered and haven't bought several from the eShop that I plan to get when the new CN year starts...

Once again, UncleBob, I'd like to thank you for letting me feel like I make sane, reasonable decisions when it comes to Nintendo purchases by using you as a comparison.
