Pokemon fanatics can obtain one of the three legendary dogs in honor the upcoming Pokemon Black and White.

Nintendo and GameStop have announced that they will be giving away shiny versions of the three legendary dogs, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. Shiny Pokemon are some of the rarest Pokemon in the games, and feature a different color scheme from their regular counterparts. Each week the store will be giving a different legendary dog. The dates are as follows:

Shiny Raikou – January 3 through January 9

Shiny Entei – January 17 through January 23

Shiny Suicune – January 31 through February 6

In order to obtain the Pokemon, players must bring their copies of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Pokemon Platinum, and Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver to a GameStop store. By transfering one of the legendary dogs to the upcoming Pokemon Black and White games, players will unlock Zoroark, this is the only way to catch this Pokemon.

The good news is that Zoroark can breed, so it'll be possible to get the Pokemon through wifi trading online for a relatively cheap trade.

I got Raikou. Is this the kind of mystery gift that only allows you one of the three? Or can I go back for each? Anyone know?

Each one is available during a specific time period. Right now it's Raikou, in a few weeks it's a different one, etc..

I realize that, but if it's the "same" mystery gift, the game will only let you get it once... which is what I was worried about.

You can go back again to get the rest.  The mystery gift/wondercard/whatever it is changes when the Pokemon changes.

I think what Pale's asking is if he can get the same gift multiple times.

Pale, try getting Raiku in your party, then restarting and deleting its Wonder Card. That might let you get him again.

I think it's based on you Trainer ID, so I don't think he would be able to do it.

Definitely not what he was asking.  He specifically asks if it's for one of the three, asking if he can go back for each one.
