Episode 87: Going Nowhere
« on: January 25, 2011, 02:07:23 AM »

Zach and TYP exchange foggy memories.

Did you like the third and fourth games? Let your fellow listeners know in TalkBack! Think you've got a better choice? Then send it my way and your request might be on the next episode of Radio Trivia: Podcast Edition!  Heck, throw in a question and specific songs if you want.  Just remember, it has to be a game found on a Nintendo system in North America (unless we say otherwise)!

Man I love the soundtrack to game #2.  Thanks for picking it.  Put a smile on my face.

I'll echo Kisaki's sentiments about Epic Yarn's soundtrack, although I haven't played the game yet.  Thanks also for tossing in Sim City; I own the game and played it for hours upon hours.  I never reached the highest level in that game, even after openly emulating a plan from Nintendo Power, but I managed to get pretty close a few times.  And once it became clear that I wouldn't get over the hump yet again, I had fun destroying everything by repeatedly summoning Bowser to destroy everything.  Good times, good times...

Oh, and having played the PC version too, I can say that there were very few differences between them, aside from the scenarios and the apparent lack of a Game Over in the Super Nintendo version.

I went 2 for 5 this time. Haven't played Game 2 but I have heard the soundtrack. So when the first song came on, it took me a few moments to remember that I had heard this recently. As for Game 3, it took less than 5 seconds for me to recognize it. Nice round, overall.
This is where I would write something witty or funny if I had any ideas.

I should probably mention the answer to the first game's trivia question:

Sub-weapons
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

Battle of the Holy is one of my favorite pieces of game music, but that game is so terrible, it's one of a literal handful of games that I've gotten rid of.

I've been trying to learn how to play the first background song of game two. Really tough, but lots of fun!

Yes, I got the first 3 games correct (and the other 2 I had no clue). Good selection!

I love listening to Radio Trivia, even though I rarely know which game is playing. LOL
