Or maybe after IGA saw the PSP Castlevania bomb after he said the PSP was where the true Castlevania fanbase was, he finally released it's really the Nintendo fanbase that embraces the Castlevania series. ... IGA might feel that the people that bought the 2D ones for the DS, will also buy a 2D one for the Wii.

Actually Japan already got the Virtual Console release for this, so you never know we might see that which would be awesome.

I love 2d castlevania games, I didn't hate 3d ones like everyone else but still 2d can keep on coming. The no-weapon aspect is scary though, we will see they tend to make great games.

Wii port of Dracula X Chronicles confirmed.

FYI : The Incredible Hulk DS game blows, very very basic.

Wall*E wasn't that bad puzzle game with nice graphics

Kung Fu Panda- Meh it was ok combat with touch screen.

I didn't download the anagrams for Crosswords I'm not a fan of that

I would suggest holding off on the DS version. Neither the farming/social aspect nor the fighting aspect of the game felt fully fleshed out.

The town "events" were a joke where everybody just stood outside of their houses with one new line of dialogue.

The combat was really basic, even for a hack n' slash. The AI simply walked in a straight line towards you. It was also annoying how frequently enemy attacks inflicted status altering conditions like poison and silence.

Mind you, it's not bad. It's leaps and bounds better than A Wonderful Life, though that's not saying much. It just felt like it lacked polish. Hopefully they'll have it all fixed for the Wii version.

I very much agree.

I got to the 4th or 5th cave and was addicted than hit a wall where I just got so bored with it and sold it soon after.

Natsume is terrible about polishing games they tend to do what they can at the time, and just re-release a better version a year or two later with slight patches and fixes they should of included to begin with.

The game doesn't look good, it looks like a good looking GAMECUBE game. Things could still look better its just that so many other 3rd party games have looked so horrible we tend to forget how much power the Wii can do. We should expect near RE4 quality for God Sakes this is 2008.

Modern War is such an amazing game its on the top of the list for local multiplayer with my friends. I am so sick of the World War 2. Sort of getting sick of SCI FI shooters too, so modern is so fresh.

This is a step back, if it was infinite ward I would give a damn but as of now they have to prove to me I should care.

Not into Vietnam, or Civil War crap either.

Revolutionary or War of 1812, or Spanish American War now that would be something special.  8)

It was a blackjack game that ran off an engine. It had to be a really cheap, really short development cycle. Like, even quicker and cheaper than Brain Age.

Come on now, Brain Age was not a simple thing to do unlike card games like that. Brain Age has voice recognition and handwriting recognition not the best, but not something you can just copy.

TalkBack / Re: Wii Channels: Worth It?

CHECK Mii OUT.

Fun for laughs and to get some good miis onto your wii so that you get a good mix and its fun to see what up. I say download it once every 3 months and check out whats new, than delete.  6/10

Everyone votes channel

this is so pointless yet addicting thing to play if you have friends or family who join along. I had the best statistic but after a while it gets tedious to gather everyone for something so stupid. God addicted for a few months and now delete and i'm happy about that. 3/10

Nintendo Channel:

Excellent channel that provides videos of new wiiware and upcoming games. I check it every monday to see what is new and if its worthy of my money. I very much enjoy DS downloads even if they are not always great games. 9/10

Internet channel:

I pretty much only use this late at night when I am horny and don't want to get out of bed to go to the computer room. I found a few porno websites that work great on it, and sometimes it might be fun to watch youtube videos on it. 7/10

Forcast Channel

Worthless since it doesn't update that frequently and doesn't give real time data.
3/10

News

pretty worthless since i have a small TV so reading is hard on it, but not a bad idea I rather use that than pay for Newspaper subscription. 5/10

Mii Channel:

I have it maxed out with 100 miis, but still I think its a good tool and I like the miis in game. 7/10

disk channel:

serves only 1 purpose and does it without problem 10/10

Wii Shopping:

Occasionally they update the channel but a real update is needed to download faster and maybe even back round download stuff. I very much like the idea they have info and update every monday both Wiiware and Virtual console I thought nintendo would drop the ball and release it whenever they want.
7/10

Photo Channel

Not bad channel since I do have an SD card with pictures on it, the problem is even as JPG file they don't always show up or they show up than disappear. I didn't like they took off the mp3 support, but if you got a sd card full of pictures and want to show it off this is very easy and nice way to do it.

6/10

Metroid Prime 3 Preview Channel

Nice to see some exclusive content but it wasn't full screen nor was it great quality and only lasted a little while. 4/10

I don't own either WiiFit or Mario Kart so I can't say anything about those channels.

Overall I like the channels, even if some are more useful than others

meh. i never cared for any music game besides Donkey Konga.

I just don't get what the big deal is of Guitar Hero. I can listen to my iPod and pick up a controller and press random buttons and imagine myself a superstar for free.

Some impressions of Gyrostar. Overall very good game but some little things are annoying.

The controls. Works great, however if you want to use wiimote and nunchuck or classic controller it doesn't automatically detect the control and adjust on screen button layout.  So that is confusing.

The game does use tilt of wiimote or nunchuck if you choose. That is a bit over sensitive for my likes but you can get used to it. Ironically I think using mario kart wheel might help for wiimote, but I think nunchuck tilt is a bit smoother.

You can play 4 players but are required to play with wiimotes of some kind so no cube controllers which makes no sense since you don't need tilt controls.

The game starts smooth and gets faster as you go. You got to collect energy balls to make sure you can travel in the portal at the end of the level. If you don't collect the energy balls you will die at the end. Enemies scattered around and if they destroy you it stops your collecting of energy balls. The levels are about a few minutes each and can become really fast and hectic near the end.

You can't float off the left/right of halfpipe which is great and feels more like F-zero shooter than an actual shoot em up.

Graphics: Very nice and clean art style and music fits the game well.

Overall a very good game. 8/10
