It's not "made" by atlus, it's being published by Atlus. Very, very large difference.

It's made by grasshopper (Killer 7, Samurai Champloo) and another team that is very important but who's name escapes me right now.

Seriously, I think Atlus and Ubisoft are warring over a place in my heart as favorite third-party publisher. Majesco may be a distant third.

Argh, I tried to fix that link myself, but it looks like I wandered off after some shiny object while waiting for the 1 minute post limit to pass.

RPGamer has the entire game manual up in PDF form. The Professor has blog entries on every page of the manual. The cliche internet survey in his last entry is funny (well, they're all pretty funny) and it adds a bit of intrigue when he admits that he's keeping secrets from Terry.

I was going to get this, but I've played way too many RPGs lately. I'm really craving Zelda/Metroid right now, so after I finish Fire Emblem I'm probably going to just wait for those.
This is a possibility, but not right now. I want to play it, but RPGs have just worn me out. I don't enjoy them in the same way.

I think this is going to be pretty unique compared to your average RPG. It's not as serious and hopefully not an 80 hour mega-quest. However, I can see what you're thinking Hostile, I've gotten over-Zelda'd lately playing both Majora's Mask and Minish Cap, and I may have to take a break before I really dive into Twighlight Princess (unless I finish both games in the next week or so).
