« on: April 14, 2020, 12:56:11 PM »I just thought I'd share the two instances where Amazon Customer Services went out of their way to help me.
I traded in Kid Icarus: Uprising to Amazon via post. I did something incredibly stupid though, as I didn't ask for a receipt when I sent it off through the post office. The item never arrived at Amazon (damn postal service!) but they agreed to apply the credit any way. Which I thought was really good of them.
More recently I also traded in pretty much all my Wii games (with the exception of Metroid Prime Trilogy and the Galaxy games). I wanted to get some money for them while I still could, as my intention is to but a next generation console sometime in 2014. When I decided to purchase college research papers to secure my grades and after traded the games in though I did not read the terms and conditions, which state that credit is only valid for 12 months. I emailed Amazon and told them that I had wanted to use the credit some time in April or May of 2014, and I asked if they could extend the validity period of the credit. They agreed and extended the credit to 2015.
Those are just two instances. There have been many more occasions where I have also found them to be very helpful, even when dealing with third party sellers.
