Nintendo Gaming / RE:OFFICIAL Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Discussion
« on: September 27, 2003, 08:12:27 PM »
Incredible trailer!!!  Just one one thing though; Snake doesn't sound like David Hayter anymore.....  It sounds more like the guy that does Spike Spiegel's voice on Cowboy Bebop.  Maybe it's just me.....

18 and I agree wholeheartedly.  I had to go get my other keyboard because the tears rolling from my eyes shorted it out.  I absolutley cannot stand it when when some xboxer or PS2 fan comes to me screaming "OH MY GAWD HAVE YOU SEEN THE LATEST, CRAPPY THIRD PARTY GAME THAT FILLED WITH BLUUD, SECKS, AND TEH BULLIT TYME!1!"
GAYCUB SUX!! LOL!

General Gaming / A possible GBA mod....
« on: September 05, 2003, 08:42:57 PM »
I wonder if it's possible to take the control stick from the NGPC and mod it to work on the GBA/SP?  If anyone thinks they have means to do it e-mail me at juro@aemail4u.com.  Thanks.

I remeber reading somewhere that Final Fantasy Tactics Advance had three different viewing modes:  Normal, SP, and Player.  If anyone here has the import and can explain, please do.  My anticipation grows every second for this game!!  September 15 can't get here soon enough!!!

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Ogre Battle Cubed?
« on: August 26, 2003, 06:00:39 AM »
I noticed on the title screens for all of the Ogre Battles (on the Nintendo systems of course) Nintendo/Quest appears.  Maybe Nintendo does own the rights to the franchise.....They did always license it out to other publishers....

How could I've forgotten about the Last Blade series.  Good times.....
I'm just trying to keep real gaming spirit alive and not let it dwindle GTA copycats or war simulators.

That would be an awesome game for GBA, would it not?  After playing Tekken Advance, I was convinced that the GBA could really handle the zooming camera and other things.  Oh well it's late....any thoughts?

General Gaming / RE: Fight on Goemon! (long story)
« on: July 14, 2003, 09:46:08 PM »
That PS2 game you're talking about is exactly NOT the type of Goemon I wanted to see.  I looked at that about a year ago and almost vomited on my computer.  Teenaged Goemon?  No wacky Japanesey type humor?!  The original SD Goemon just has more charm IMO....

General Gaming / Fight on Goemon! (long story)
« on: July 14, 2003, 08:07:13 PM »
I recently made a trip to my local videostore and after years of waiting I finally got up the nerve to bargain for some of their old games.  They never rented anymore so I thought, "What the heck, I might as well take them before some one else does."  I managed to haggle the manager out of six N64 games for $19.87.  Two of the six games were Mystical Ninja: starring Goemon, and Goemon's Great Adventure.  These are two awesome games, especially GGA!  If you can find 'em I definitely suggest taking a look at them!  They are extremely Japanese though, but that part of the allure.  I wonder if Konami would ever consider bringing back Goemon, (and that New Age drivel...)  I'd take Goemon over a lame Mickey Mouse game anyday.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: hitman 2: silent assassin

No it doesn't.  My friend bought it a week ago and we both enjoy it a lot.  It can get pretty intense in some sections though.  The cutscenes are awesome!

Can anyone make a list of rankings from highest to lowest?  I just finished the Land of Ice and my ranking was Fallen Pirate.  It just sucks that every random battle you run away from drops your ranking...... they need to work on that in the sequel...like they haven't already....go but this game if you haven't already! (PHEW!)

Nintendo Gaming / Official Game Boy Player Discussion
« on: July 10, 2003, 09:52:54 AM »
I was just thinking....now that the GBP is out couldn't developers add like more button functions or analog control or something?  Say for instance Capcom decided to release yet another port of its arcade fighting games.  Well you could potentially have two control methods: one six button and one four button.  Or a company could add and analog control scheme to a future racing game.  Just an idea.....

Yes it is one of the best.  I have yet to beat it but man!  One quick question though, when do you see the "evil" version of the main crew?

Nintendo Gaming / Lupin the 3rd?

Thanks........oooookaaaayyy!  I don't think that will ever come stateside.  Wasn't what I was expecting at all...  I like those types of games and all, but geez!  Might be cool to see the quality of the video..... I'll import.  *goes and learns Japanese*

Is this still coming to gamecube?  I'm a really huge fan of the manga/anime, and I remember IGN reporting it's exsistence a year ago. Since the PS2 version is coming soon, I'm hoping the cube will be too......if it hasn't already gotten the axe......
It's being developed by aki if anyone is interested.

Nintendo Gaming / Cube specs?
« on: July 07, 2003, 10:33:13 AM »
So if what you are saying is indeed true, then why are publishers half-assing ports and such on the cube.  Nothing infuriates me more than seeing a cube port become worse than the PS2 version of the same game or become the lesser of the Xbox version.

Nintendo Gaming / Cube specs?
« on: July 03, 2003, 07:02:39 PM »
I know the days of "Spec Wars" are over, but does anyone know the theoretical spec for the cube.  I remeber reading some Xbox propaganda called the "Xbox Advantage" and was extremely disgusted by M$ spec comparison sheet.  The things corporations will do....
