Rob Schneider movies are better than Adam Sandler. At least Rob Schneider is actually putting in the effort and he has the whole ugly as sin pity thing going for him. Adam Sandler is literally the same asshole in every movie and he is just being himself. Rob Schneider gives a **** about acting. The Hot Chick was super weird, but damn he put some heart into it. Between the two, I would take Rob any day of the week.

As for Stallone's Dredd, I have a liking for it because it's a bit fucked in the head and Sly is just hamming it up. Had some pretty decent soecial effects. Sure, a lot of the plot and the ending didn't make much sense, it had a camp quality to it with some fantastic dialogue, but it could have done a little less Schneider, just a touch. Without Rob it would have been Sly grimacing for 96 Minutes. But it is nowhere as good as Demolition Man, now that is a classic.

I am not saying Rob or Adam make good movies. I mean, next to Hot Fuzz, they are complete ****. But it's one of those, one or the other questions, you would pick Rob.

If I had to choose between Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider for any reason, I would blow my brains out.

I don't care what anyone says, Billy Madison is a good movie. Stupid, sure, but well done. That alone puts Sandler over Schneider.

The best thing Sandler ever did was the Wedding Singer, and it was a pretty trite romantic comedy. That says a lot, I think.

Will Ferrell made Anchorman, and because of that I can't hate him no matter what else he does.

Talladega Nights was decent. I liked Step Brothers a lot as well; he seems to work well with John C. Reilly.

Anchorman is the funniest movie ever. Period. If you don't like it, then seriously just go to hell.

I always hated Will Ferrel more.

While I too really hate Ferrel, at least he tries to play a slightly different character in each film. Sandler plays the exact same asshole time and time again.

Movie was good, but not in the mood to talk about it since the shooting in Denver kinda fucked with that.

Well, Aurora (not Denver). Apparently the shooter dyed his hair red and told police he was the Joker (though shouldn't he have dyed it green then?).

It's not new, but apparently the BBC made a dark crime drama starring Stringer Bell as the detective and I’m only learning this now. Luckily, it's on Netflix; gotta love the BBC in that regard.

My wife has been watching MI5 on Amazon, also from BBC. Its been fairly entertaining though these crime dramas aren't up my alley.

Again, this one's not new, but Sherlock is absolutely fantastic. The 1st season's on Netflix. It's essentially taking classic Sherlock Holmes stories and setting them in modern day London. It works surprisingly well.

The second season is even better. You can watch it on PBS, I believe.
