10th Ann. Celebration Idea..
« on: March 09, 2009, 03:11:50 PM »
Here's a crazy idea.  Harass former staff members to do special guest reviews of current(-ish) games.

I'd like Pyro to do a re-review of New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis. I know his review of the GCN title holds a special place in his heart...
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

The GCN title is only the best 4-player shared-screen Nintendo game, ever.

Stan reviewed Mario Tennis:  Power tour for GBA.

Some dude named Mike Suzuki reviewed Mario Power Tennis.  He gave it an 8.5.

If you're going to troll, at least do it right.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Crap, you're right. I got those switched.. And I'm not looking to troll! I seriously would like to have some of the old staffers come back and do reviews of the newer games... Sure, they can come back and update us on what they're doing now, but what about their opinion on the games - isn't that what we came to this site for to begin with?

They are welcome to do this, but getting most of them to write for the special was hard enough.  And of course, they'd still be held to our regular review standards.

use the power of video and youtube to make a documentary, come up with 50 or so questions to ask each staff member. Add some archive footage in between interviews with commentary.
