I guess they'd have to add an option to switch b/w the GBA and the SP.

Everyone who says online and internet are two different things is getting confused. The world wide web it the http stuff. The internet is what it goes through. So online gaming would be on the internet.

stupid... very stupid thing to say.

Not many first party titles are well suited to online play anyway. Four Swords type games would work better in LAN and so would Mario and Metroid games.

Mario Kart, SSB. And about Four Swords, did you notice that there was a microphone built in? I find it weird that now their saying no online, since they've pretty much said there will be online play. Did they say internet at the press conference? Here's some quotes from Nintendo.com's E3 DS page: "The voice capabilities also could allow gamers to chat with one another over the Internet while playing." "...and compete at a central game hub on the Internet, even if they're thousands of miles apart."

BTW, couldn't PGC call NOA's press phone number and ask them about this? I'm hoping it was just lost in translation.

Nintendo needs to learn to listen to their customers about online gaming.

Who was the first to come up with something like the eye toy? I remember a few years ago hearing about Intel making something just like that.

NSV/AAC/VP6 is nice. Play with winamp.  4MB, converted from Nintendo's official quicktime file.

I just compared PGC's Zelda DivX to Nintendo's quicktime. Nintendo's looks better. Just stick with that.

TalkBack / RE: Nintendo Patents GBA Emulation
« on: April 29, 2004, 12:25:04 PM »
This is old. When I looked at it for the first time, I decided that this does NOT refer to PC GBA emulators. Unless you consider a PC a "low-capability target platform," you have nothing to worry about. And I'm sure Nintendo would like refering to the gamecube as a "low-capability target platform" as well. Ha.

I hope you don't mind me posting this, but there is already a nice yahoo club for gamesaves at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ngcfs/ . Someone there has even started hacking TS2 maps to put in secret characters and stuff. And someone posted there that PSO has some sort of protection against copying memory card files.

Third save backup thing out. I hope the file format is compatible with the USB memory card and GSC. Another use for this is loading premade Timesplitters 2 files. And just for more storage. Anyone, I already have PSO and a BBA, so I'll just stick with GCS.
BTW, does anyone know if it shows the actual filename (kind of confusing, sometimes it's just g435tx.gc or whatever.

EDIT: Wait a sec, you missed something. It says register the two games AND the gamecube itself. Hm....

So, the tickets cost around $32. Anyone willing to sneak a recorder in there?
