Anybody who honestly thinks midi sounds as good as a real, live orchestra needs to listen to more music. Midi will never sound as good as the real thing. And all this midi crap is disappointing, especially when Sakurai said that the entire soundtrack would be orchestrated.

You are my new best friend.

Eh, I thought this track was pretty unimpressive and midi-tastic; same for the LoZ one. The rest are awesome though, especially the metroid track.

Am I the only one that wants to see additional damage caused from slamming into a wall or the ground?

I'd really like to know whether or not the SSBB site is going to spoilerize its own game. The excitement felt when you unexpectedly unlock a character and have no idea who it is going to be...
It's like Christmas morning when you are 8 rolled up into 3 seconds of mind orgasm.

So if anyone can get a link and can confirm or somehow disprove it, that'd be mighty fine.

What I want to know is: Can other players who are NOT Wario get on the motorcycle and ride it if Wario gets knocked off? Sorry if this idea was already put out there in a previous post; I've only read page 33.

Could my custom title please be "BS Specialist"?

A few months ago my work decided that I was a Business Solutions Specialist.

The site's updates are a Godsend. Before the site became active I was having a quasi-mental breakdown from complete lack of information about this game. Despite the fact that it's mostly a bunch of BS we already know, it's still comforting that every 3 or 4 days I'll find out some information that's actually news and gives my imagination something to chew on.

Are Castlevania games anything like Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts? I've never played one before.

Also, it's a tad early to be saying anything like that. There could be a lot of changes we don't know about yet.

I don't mean to be a grammar Nazi, Amodaus1; but if you are going to write such long posts all the time take ten seconds to copy and paste it into something with a spell check because God damn.

Sounds like someone isn't very good at dodging or rolling.

Traditional fighting game characters in a SSB game? I think this is a major no-no. Part of SSB's mystique is that it contains characters from games that span potentionally every game genre EXCEPT fighting. Anything to the contrary would lead me to believe that the SSB series is going to slowly morph into a normal fighting game, which is definitely a no-no.

IceCold, who wrote your signature quotes?

I'm not waiting until Thanksgiving to show off my Wii, I'll be making my parents play at first and then any other relatives/friends/salesmen that come to the house for a month or 2 after I get the system.

I don't get it; random SSBM clips of mediocre battles. I must be missing something.

The music did add a "yeah this is fun I love SSBM" feel to it. I don't know if this is supposed to be a tribute or not, though.

On the speed subject; I say that SSBM is one of the finest games I've ever played. The characters are all almost perfectly balanced, the physics and gameplay is awesome, and the speed is perfect. If a player thinks the game is too fast, I think he/she needs to practice.

I say "almost perfectly" because I think Kirby is a tad on the weak side. His moves should be either more powerful or he should move faster with less recover time after moves. He's definitely not my main man, so it's possible that I'm not using him correctly. I understand he was TOO powerful in SBB so they watered him down in SSBM. I hope they finally balance out the Kirby formula in SSBB.

And lastly, is it just me or is that Fox stage at the end of the video awesome?
