General Chat / RE:Game Soundtracks?
« on: August 21, 2004, 11:31:23 AM »
Gosh, I hope that Nintendo would make a Wario Land series soundtrack!  What an underrated series, the theme for WL1 was the best.  From Nintendo Power like in 1997, my brother and I got a 3 disk soundtrack collection of Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, and Star Fox 64.  Great cd's, especially the Mario Kart one, it had every single character voice sample for all of the racers!

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Amazing Deals!
« on: August 21, 2004, 11:25:53 AM »
Man, me and my friend saw SSBM for 20 bucks at Game Stop, which is a good deal in its own right already, but of course my friend only had $18.  So we decided, hey!, mabey if we put the SSBM cover in a game case that has a $15 tag on it, we can pay less!  Of course it didn't work, and the Game Stop guy thought my friend was a nut (Which is why I decided to stand outside the store until he bought it).  Luckily I had enough change in my pocket and he had some too, so he got the game.  The things people do for SSBM.....It was a new copy too on the self......

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Players Choice List? Where?
« on: August 21, 2004, 11:20:53 AM »
I miss the N64 days when it had to sell over a million copies to be on there, hence its old name, "Million Seller".  Im also shocked that WrestleMania x8 is on there, what a butt game, nothing compared to No Mercy, or even its sequel WMXIX!

Nintendo Gaming / The other Nintendo Characters.
« on: August 21, 2004, 11:02:16 AM »
Nintendo has created soo many games in the past 20 years, Donkey Kong, the Mario Games, Metriod, Pokemon.  The problem is, they're all sequels, featuring the same characters and villans, and I believe thats what is turning away possible gamers.  Everything is the same.
My opinion is that Nintendo should consider making similar games, yet starring NEW people.  For example, I think that the big N should make a new Mario game, but instead of the Mario Bros, throw in the Wario Bros!  Make it a new experience while keeping the same feeling of the series.  With Pokemon, which is the most obvious overused game by now, they should just redo the whole thing, all new PokeMon, mabey alil more grown up with more mutant like monsters instead of cute Pikachu offsprings.
The idea might be stupid, but its worth a try, to spruce things up a little bit, whats your opinions...

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Mortal Kombat : Deception Discussion
« on: August 21, 2004, 10:50:38 AM »
Now see im suprised, my opinion is that they brought back alot of characters for this new game.  I mean like, Kabal? Thats goin back to MK3.  Nightwolf? Just as old school.  Supposbly the game features like some sort of trophy mode like in SSBM or somethin that has every single character in it, I forget.  But all i know is in one way or form, everyone is in it.  Im just excited that they brought back, Smoke.  Hes neither human or robotic, hes actually smoke!!

Nintendo Gaming / RE:How will GBA games work on the DS?
« on: August 20, 2004, 06:35:15 PM »
they could do a 64DD type deal, using both slots at the same time, or possibly using either a blank gba cart or a blank ds card for memory to store created tracks and characters for the opposite format.

11
They could use DS cards as expansions to existing GBA carts, such as the 64DD was to games like F-Zero and Zelda 64, especially with its rewriteablity features.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Gamecube titles that might be held over to N5?
« on: October 26, 2003, 04:28:11 PM »
Super Mario RPG came out right before the N64, and N64 had Super Mario 64.  So their is no reason why they cant have two killer apps in the works.  One to benefit Game Cube and one to benifit the N5!

General Gaming / RE:How come you don't own an X-box? (Why?)
« on: September 16, 2003, 10:17:44 AM »
Ahhh to many fanboy remarks in one day.  Well, to brighten this topic up, and to be fair and square, I dont have an Xbox because i dont have the money.  I picked GCN over it because i have been a Nintendo dude for over 10 years, and why would i end that now.  I would love an Xbox, mainly for Halo 2, KOTOR, and the Rare games.

NWR Feedback / RE:future of PGC name
« on: September 05, 2003, 06:31:56 PM »
Just make it Planet.  Its mysterious, stealthy, and cool.  By the time the next console comes out, PGC will be a network probably that will be running our living rooms and bathrooms, and only our living rooms and bathrooms.  Not the kitchen or the bedrooms.  I also think that they should seperate gameboy and game cube on the site, so it can be Planet Game Cube, and Planet Game Boy.  Itd be more organised.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:How old are you and how long have you had gamecube?
« on: August 24, 2003, 02:16:04 PM »
Im 15, I live in Pittsburgh, and got Game Cube the day it came out.  Have a video game room worth over $15,000 dollars.  15 years of gaming in a nutshell costs that much.  For GCN i got Luigi's Mansion, Metroid Prime, Tony Hawk 3, Wind Waker, Wario World, Super Mario Sunshine, Wrestlemania X8, Sonic Mega Collection, Rouge Leader, Animal Crossing, Spiderman, GameBoy Player, Smash Bros, and last but certainly not least, Ocarina Of Time/Master Quest.  Also i got Atari 2600, NES, SNES, N64, PSX(the original), PSone, PS2, Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Color, 2 Game Boy Advances, GBAsp, Dreamcast, Saturn, two PC's, Surround Sound, and a nice FirePlace to keep me warm. Oh my do I love video games........

What makes you think GameCube games will help the N5 when they dont even help the GameCube?

Nintendo Gaming / RE:More from THQ and Rare
« on: August 13, 2003, 05:48:08 AM »
Im glad that Rare is making games for GameBoy now.  Though it seems like the games they are making for it "arent mature enough for Xbox".   Long live Game Boy

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Resident Evil Code Verionica X
« on: August 13, 2003, 05:42:02 AM »
The game is only a port of the PS2 version.  The graphics look ok, considering theyre only 3 years old, but they arent up to par with REmake and RE0.  IGN has an article on it.  I would give you a link but im too lazy.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:"N5" Controller.
« on: August 12, 2003, 03:41:40 PM »
I Have the greatest idea.  Not only should Nintendo make a brand new controller for the N5, but they should make adaptors for all their old controllers to fit on the system somehow.  Think about it, Myamoto wants games to be simple, so he could use the NES controller on his game.  Square would want a Final Fantasy game, so they could use the SNES controller.  First person shooters could use the N64 controller, cause it is the best FPS controller (GoldenEye).     It would make everyone happy. O and you could use the SNES controller for Game Boy games.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:What does Shig have planned for his GTA style game?
« on: August 04, 2003, 10:11:20 AM »
Somewhere i remember reading that Miyamoto likes the GTA games cause dispite their horrible graphics, they still sold very well.  Graphics dont make the games.
