thanks everyone. yes i have pictures of the car, i'm not sure how to post them here, im used to doing it on another forum. if someone could give me directions i'd be happy to give them out... they're all about 4 months old so all i had at the time was the TRD kit. i plan on getting an LCD screen one day, maybe around christmas time, and i cant decide if i want to put the PS2 in it or the gamecube... the GC matches the exterior but i dont play my ps2 too much. ah well... tonight i think im going to battle the rain and go get another game, maybe super smash bros. if i can find it for $30. if not then im not sure what ill get.

Nintendo Gaming / starfox adventures new question
« on: February 22, 2003, 01:24:12 PM »
wow about 10 minutes after i posted i finally figured it out. if anyone else gets stuck here too, you need to run over by the well that tricky dug into (where the bird is always flying overhead) and there against the giant wall is a ladder that you came out of the first time you raced, you have to go up the ladder and back into the cave, which leads to it. i cant believe i didnt remember. ah well.... now a few hours later im 28% done compared to 17% earlier. im enjoying this game more and more as it progresses.

well, last night was my first night with the machine.
here are a few of the things i love about it:
A.) size of the system itself, it's so compact.
B.) controller: fits perfectly in my hands, i even like it better than the ps2 controller
C.) no loading time (for starfox atleast)
D.) very detailed & rich graphics (starfox)
plus a ton of other great stuff. i think tonight i might go out and rent a game or 2 or if i can find some cash i might go buy a game.

well, as i said, i traded in my n64 w/ all 20 games or so tonight and 3 crappy ps2 games of mine for only about $85 in credit at EB, but that was enough to help buy a gamecube. i bought a platinum unit and i picked the starfox adventures game to go with it (never been a big fan of metroid) i also bought a used memory card for only $6 (was almost out of money and would have been totally broke if i would have bought a new one) i havent had time to hook it all up yet, but im really excited.

is the wavebird a reliable/good quality controller? i know that most aftermarket controllers always have flaws that interfere w/ the game system/games, is this officially licensed by nintendo?

hello all, this is my first post here. nice forums you guys got. i currently own a ps2 that i got about a year ago. im wanting to purchase a gamecube possibly this week but first i need some money, so i plan on going to game exchange and selling my dreamcast or n64 (whichever sells for more) and all of its games (have about 15 dc games and 20 n64) and also a few of my ps2 games. any idea how much they buy stuff for? also, which game should i get with my gamecube and is it worth the $150?
