Etrian Odyssey V had it's wish granted and took the top sales spot last week. And look at Kirby just hanging out there in 8th. Little guy has been comfy staying in the top 20 for so long.

It sounds like the 3DS was the best selling platform in the U.S. for the month of July. Being the top selling platform in July doesn't mean nearly the same thing as being the top seller in the later months, of course, but between the $150 New 3DS bundle dropping this month, Pokemon Sun and Moon dropping in November, and the general momentum from Pokemon Go, it seems like the 3DS could be in for a fairly big second half of the year overall. Depending on how they choose to bundle or release special hardware to coincide with the Sun and Moon launch, the 3DS could really go big during the holiday season.

There was a holiday weekend in Japan.

Also, 3DS kinda went as much beastmode as it can get last month in the US.

Best selling game of the month? Monster Hunter Generations. I am not making that up.

I guess Pokemon GO is doing its job like Nintendo hoped it would. Now we need that Fire Emblem GO game to be released so it can spur more FE sales.

The latest Tales of game tops the charts. A bit softer compared to previous Tales of games, quite possibly due to disappointments with the last game, Tales of Zestria.
