Thank you for posting this. This news is pretty cool. Doesn't this game have tons of enemies on screen? How do you think Capcom has gotten around that problem of not enough power?

Maxi we had a debate awhile back about Dead Rising being possible, some here claimed it was impossible on Wii while others thought it was. You may want to search it out, I did and all I have to say is

I was joking about how Capcom is going to make this work, since I don't see it happening. Which means we'll get a gimped port of a 2 year old game that isn't even that good to begin with.

I saw the news this morning, that's fucking awesome. Dead Rising did have tons of enemies on screen, but not that many different characters, if that makes a difference.

Dead Rising for the 360 was pretty awesome. I have no idea how the wii handle so many enemies on screen at one time, but this awesome sounding none-the-less.

This game actually needed better controls on 360 so thats good news. RE4 Shooting is fine with me.
maybe add some motions for good flavor.

The game won't be in HD, so that instantly allows Capcom to lower the visual quality of the characters a bit without it being noticeable. Furthermore, they could just lower the poly count in general and mask it with good textures... you know, the way it used to be done!

as for the news: i'm indifferent. I've never played the game so i never knew why everyone praised it. I'll give it a shot i suppose if its a solid port/remake/spin-off

I wonder if Capcom will included the 360's post-release DLC? It seems that they were just keys to open certain lockers in the game, thus providing the character with more outfits to wear. Seems like a small enough addition that it very well could be included from the get go on the Wii.
