I love videogame music cover bands, specially if they play the music as rock (electric guitar, drums, bass). I also like the untouched videogame music of course.

With that said however, although your list is impressive Bill (really, REALLY impressive), i don't see myself listening to something off of Mario Tennis.

B...But...MOTOI SAKURABA! ;_;

...but what I'd really like that I don't have is the soundtrack to Sonic The Hedgehog 2, in my opinion the best game soundtrack ever.

Sure, let me take care of that for you... :cool;

Bill you are the greatest. Now I just have to find a way to speed up Casino Night Zone to make it sound like it does with the running shoes.

I love the soundtrack to Tetrisphere. I have a program that allows me to download movies from youtube and I can convert those videos to mp3s and there I go. Tetrisphere really had fantastic music for an n64 game that really was original and memorable.

You're ripping MP3's from compressed mono YouTube videos? That's no way to listen to one of the greatest N64 soundtracks!

Also lol at bumping this from 2004.

I got The Advantage's
"Kraigs Lair" I love it.

I also love Super mario galaxies music. So pretty.

Cripple camp has a GREAT remix of Ghost and Goblins.

and 4"stud has a great mario mix.

All of these I listed can be found on iTunes.

Here are the franchises I have music for:
1. Super mario
2. Zelda
3. Ghost and golbins
4. punchout
5. Star fox
6. Metroid
7. 1080 snowboarding (both this is a test song and the 'hello hello' song)
8. tetrisphere / tetris
9. Wario Ware Inc. ( ashleys song and main wario theme)
10. Mr. game and watch

I downloaded one and it sounded maybe 10% different, i'm not audio-file so this improvement isn't that big. Anyway for this I like it more n64 style.

The Advantage, Neskimos, Powerglove, The Dimmers, Arm Cannon, Stemage (Metroid Metal), and Select Start have very specific great renditions of retro music, I say.

Also, if you're interested, these guys used to make podcasts on the subject of videogame music cover bands. It's been quite a while since they've done a podcast, but nonetheless their myspace page does have links to many more bands.
