I'm going to incorporate Arbok's list into mine where I'm missing info. If other people help me fill in the gaps I'll update some more.

I can't see whatever images there are (I'm at work where certain things are blocked) but there must be a shift in the numbers in Arbok's list. I was like "HTF could anyone confuse Ryu Hayabusa and Samus Aran?" when I saw that some of the items in Arbok's list look like they've been shifted by one.

I bet I'd probably recognize a bunch of characters and help out if
a) I could see the image(s).
b) I care enough to come back to this topic ever again.

I counted 57, Vudu 56... so we probably messed up somewhere (seems Vudu missed the Punchout Trainer, which is likely because he flashes on really quickly compared to the others, I wouldn't be surprised if my list was messed up too though)

I recognize most of them (it surprised me, too), but I don't have time to write them all down right now, and that sucks because I want to, but I have to go open presents instead. You've made me hate opening presents. I hate you.

I'll just quickly point out that after Peach, that's Kabuki Quantum Fighter, then the guy from the first Dragon Warrior (Quest, whatever), and I think #9 is Strider.

Just another correction, 28 is actually "Disney Adventures", not "Disney Land Adventures"...seems my memory failed me again (god I wish they would put the Capcom Disney games on the VC...).

Also, 33 is Jackie Chan from Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu as you suspected vudu, if there was still any doubt.

Isn't 45 from Joust? And I think SUPER's right about 51. I think it's the main character from Crystalis.

32 is from definitely from space harrier!

26 may also be from abadox, but i havnt confirmed this yet.

number 43 is Astyanax from Astyanax

31 is probably from legendary wings

23 is from blaster master

34 is Rygar from Rygar

34 - Clash at Demonhead guy? (wild guess)

Super Joe is not the name of the main character in Bionic Commando, by the way.

27 is Soaring Eagle, the star of Whomp'Em. You can thank my strong google-fu for that one.

Prince of Persia is missing from your list, vudu, even though stevey got it a while ago.

That just leaves 36, which looks familiar to me, but I don't think I've played the game.

27 is from an Indian Megaman style game that I actually owned... If I could see that cart I could tell you the name right off... The game was amusing.

Darn it you had it on page one... Oh I also owned Quantum Warrior and thats one of those games that much like Tron is an interesting concept to say the least.

hahaha, thats the name, all I could think of was that game were you drove a littel tank and then fought a giant frog. For some reason Blaster Master didn't pop ino my head.

But now were only missing 3 (26, 27 & 36) and like I said before, I know that I know what 27 is, but for some reason I can't think of a name. I remember having fun with that game though.
