Nintendo Gaming / whats with this pic?

The Wavebird shown is an older prototype basically showing what the wavebird was going to look like. The idea was to show that the wavebird wasn't going to be too different from the wired controller in size and shape [just not color (where's my a purple wavebird!)].
As for the pic being old, its just an error. Give them a break for not putting the most up to date photo on one out of a ten thousand different pages.
You try producing a big web page and see how many mistakes you make.
