IGN has an interview detailing the game. It sounds interesting, but I have trouble trusting EA.

I played the PS2 version and it was pretty sweet. The video showing how the controls work make this version look way better though. I like the wiisports boxing style fight controls. If the graphics are Xbox quality, this will be a must own Wii action game

The PS3 is getting the "Don's Edition".
The Wii is getting the "Blackhand Edition".

The demo video is a bit dark, but the game does sound pretty good..

I'm finding Splinter Cell: Double Agent to be surprisingly good so you never know what might wind up being a decent game.

It IS EA, though...

The whole "wait 1 minute to post again" rule disappearing has allowed the GHOST OF DOUBLE POAST to reign freely.

Maybe 5 seconds should be mandatory.

They should just make it that you're allowed to edit within a minute, but not post again..

I think the control set-up actually sounds promising. . . That said, it's not the kind of game I'm prone to purchase.

I probably will purchase this.  The added wii control just adds to my desire.

Well, so far out of all the 3rd party developer's making wii titles EA seems to be the best at it. (shocking I know)
I've herd plenty of good things about Madden (which i've yet to play) and Need for speed Carbon (which i tried out despite not being much of a car person) handles shockingly well.

I'd say right now EA is the one to trust when it comes to wii games... so far.

The video looks absolutely awesome. Pumping the controller to cock the shotgun, smashing people's faces on your knees, etc. It looks very promising.
I think it says on the box, 'No Hispanics' " - Jeff Green of EA

QFT.  Personally, I'm shocked at this.  Right now from personal experience EA is actually 2 for 0 with Wii games IMO.  I actually did go out and buy Need for Speed Carbon despite the reviews and while it's not perfect, it's a lot better than what the reviews seems to be leading on.  Contrary to what I've seen some reviews say about the steering, IT DOES WORK quite well but don't expect to win the first few races.  In fact, I'd say the best thing you could probably do once you get past the first event and following the purchase of a new car is to go out and do free roam for a bit to get used to how it handles.  Graphics are a little bit better than the GC, and the framerate is usually 30fps with the exception of some instances here and there.  The only real gripe I have with the game is that they didn't take the time to incorporate the Wii remote pointer with the menus and map screens.  Other than that, it is not a bad launch title by any means.

After seeing this and Madden, I'm actually looking forward to this game when it comes out.  If they can keep things as tight as I've seen it recently Godfather may actually turn out real good.  On another note, I wonder how NBA Live will go over...

EA has always been capable of competent game development, it just tends to get lazy and pump out a lot of direct sequels with unfixed bugs.  I think Wii has caused EA to put in a little extra effort, and it also doesn't hurt that Ubisoft and THQ have been outputting a lot of so-so games that make EA look good in comparison.
That's my opinion, not yours.

Had to go to four places but I finally got my copy. Haven't tried it yet (and may have to work late tonight), but the reviews are mostly positive.
