The funny thing about nostalgia is you probably already own the game, and are hesitant to buy it.
But if you never played it, it may not sound appealing, or it may not be enjoyable to play.
For me, the only title that is awesome that I don't own is Gunstar Heroes.

I would like to see rpgs I never got a chance to play, neogeo titles that were too expensive and games that never made it to the us but should have.

I think Castlevania III is the best NES episode.

I find this true with me on the early 8 bit generation.

I never owned a Nintendo 8 bit.  I did own a Super Nintendo and I want to revisit all those classic games I loved.

But to me it isn't that the 8 bit games aren't worth playing because I don't have nostalgia...but the 8 bit games were hardly ever as polished and beautiful as the Super Nintendo and Genesis era games.

What amazes me is that I still find those 2D Sprite games from the 16 bit era to be beautiful.  Not all of them, but several games still hold up graphically and have engaging game play.

I personally, am dropping almost all NES games on my list to buy except for the choice few...and I am moving to supporting SNES games more than even the Nintendo 64 games because of this simple fact.

I didn't own an SNES so I'm looking forward to playing those games I missed.

Because they already own SC4 and are interested in playing the first game of the series, which they never have.

EDIT: I just read that it was a remake. In that case, I wouldn't be interested in it.

Does Legend of Mystical Ninja have as good a music as Goemon on the N64? Are they related at all?

I have no clue, I was hoping it enabled RUMBLE.  However it did not on Wiimote, or GameCube controller

Yes it is a remake.
It's not so much a remake as it is a re-imagining.

I've heard it improves classic controller analog controls.  Which will be a godsend if true; the game is difficult to control because the controls are so sensitive.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Ok, I can agree with that. Still, it's superior! Though I can understand wanting both, just not the original over IV.

They're two pretty different games.  If someone isn't really a fan of the old school Castlevanias I can understand how they still might want the first one for nostalgic reasons but not the second one if they didn't play it 15 years ago.

Super Castlevania IV is to Castlevania as Star Fox 64 is to Star Fox.  Technically it's the same story and some of the areas are similar but feel like different games.  Metroid and Metroid: Zero Mission is a similar comparison.
