A more appropriate name has never been given.

Several months ago, Neko Entertainment released DodoGo!, a Lemmings-style puzzle-platformer on DSiWare that was colorful, charming, and challenging. The follow-up to that game is DodoGo! Challenge, a game that picks up exactly where the previous game left off, almost as if the two games were meant to originally be one release.

The game mechanics, presentation, and user interface are identical to the first game, with our complete review on that title here. For those who haven't played the original, the first stage of this sequel will be unbelievably challenging. The game offers no tutorial, however one is hidden in the options menu. Trying to learn the game without going through those tutorials is almost impossible, and going through them all at once is overwhelming. It makes the game downright inaccessible, and as a standalone title it is nearly unplayable.

If you have played the previous game, then get ready for more of the same, but with much more difficulty. The same items are used, and the same types of puzzles are included. Each stage requires careful planning, and precise timing. You can bet that you will start, stop, and restart each stage many times trying to understand the best way to proceed. If you start to catch on, these puzzles are ingenious. Most of the time, however, they are incredibly intimidating.

If you found the previous game enjoyable, and want more, this game is up your alley, but be prepared for the challenge. If you haven't played DodoGo!, you'll find that the learning curve for this game is extremely steep. Play at your own risk.
