The upcoming game update will also feature a quick-retry button and make the 3D better.

Mighty Switch Force will be adding five free levels, according to Nintendo Power.

The content will be delivered in a game update that will also enhance the game's 3D effect and add a quick-retry button. The game, WayForward's first for the eShop, came out in December 2011 and snuck into our Favorite 10 Games of 2011 list.

There is no word on when exactly the new levels will be released. We've contacted WayForward and will let you know as soon as we hear from them.

This is fantastic news! I hope they keep releasing new levels! I don't mind paying for more, but I'm glad Way Forward took into count the low level count and are adding more for free!

Now the price is more than justified.  I always felt the game was a bit short for the number of levels in it.  Unless you love getting the levels on par, I feel the game was a bit short.

Free DLC for a pretty great game? Sign me up!
This is where I would write something witty or funny if I had any ideas.

Oh yeah, I know I have 2 sealed copies of that game.   1 is for trading.  But people who collect Amiibos?  They really have a problem!

Wasn't sure the game was worth buying before due to reports that content was limited. This will likely push me over the edge.  Great news!

Awesome news. I hope they add online leaderboards as well; I'd replay the game a lot more with that.
