Zelda Avalanche for Australia

If you live in Australia, prepare to get snowed under a whole heap of Zelda stuff this month.

Brace yourselves, Australian Zelda fans: Nintendo Australia is launching not one, not two, but a whopping THREE Legend of Zelda products this month.  On the 7th of April (that's this Friday!), Australian Nintendo owners can finally get their hands on The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap and The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures.  The Zelda Limited Edition Game Boy Advance SP will also be launched in Australia on this date.  If you've forgotten what it looks like, here it is again:

Zelda Minish Cap Edition

To celebrate the simultaneous release of these three products, Nintendo Australia will be launching a competition to win a holiday to New Zealand.

To enter, you need to purchase any of the above Legend of Zelda products, and then use your imagination to show how good a Zelda treasure hunter you are:

Throughout his adventures in Hyrule, Link has found countless treasures and chests filled with Rupees. How did you find your Zelda treasure? Did you find it in the dungeon of your garage? Did you solve a block puzzle in the living room to reveal a hidden chest?

Those with the best proof of their treasure hunting skills will be in the draw to set off on their very own adventure.

To be in the draw, send us a photo or 30 second video of your treasure hunt. Entries can be sent either Online or a non-returnable photo, CD or VHS by post.

All entrants must include their purchased product in their photo or footage as proof of purchase.

Entry doesn't open until April 7th, when the stuff officially goes on sale.  Until then, use that time to think up some really creative entries.

It's got a duck bill, you moron!

Why the hell are they celebrating the release of games that we should have seen months ago?

To rub it in a little more.

I played Four Swords last summer, by the way.

Hey good job releasing that year old Zelda game for $100, that Zelda themed GBA nobody will buy because it's overpriced and totally stupid and that Zelda GBA game that shouldn't of ever been delayed in the first place, NAL. What's that? I can win a trip to New Zealand if I support your horrible decisions? RAD-TASTIC!

My favorite thing is that stuff all people will enter and Hybrid or I will walk away with the prize as was the case in the Metroid competition.

Im temted to buy another SP just cos the Zelda one is so extreme. More extreme than a trip to New Zealand.
