Wrong. They're MUTOs. Made specifically for this movie. They said many times already that besides the God himself, no other previous kaiju is in this film. Here's a clear picture of the kaiju as a toy http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af109/Peter_Quill/godzilla-vs-muto_zps2b841724.jpg

Yeah, I'm tired of the internet exploding with Rodan and Mothra rumors. Look at that thing--it looks nothing like either one. It's a new beastie. Actually, there are two or three Muto monsters, with different morphologies.

I miss the Godzilla is a rubber suit. Also as much as I like the movies that put the G-man in a more antagonistic light like the orginal and the new film, I have to say i much prefer the campy godzilla who gets busy on barkley.

To be fair, Godzilla basically looks nothing like Gozilla. However, my bad.

Godzilla was never the absolute antagonist and even in the new one he is not. What the new one and the original have in common is that Godzilla isn't just some campy monster. He's a force of nature. He's a symbol for the atomic bomb. That's why I cannot fucking wait for this movie, because they finally get it.

To clarify, I hate the campy Godzilla films.

care to share what it is? since it's not technically spoiling the movie?

I plan on watching it this weekend, even though I'm sure it's probably not very good, but looks entertaining enough. Although I would rather wait till Godzilla comes out and watch it with that on the same day... but I guess Godzilla will have to wait for DoFP instead.

Don't get me wrong I think the original and this new one will be the best films in the franchise but come on.

Neighbors - Seth Rogen vs Zak Efron
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/neighbors_2014/ - 96%

Fraternity moves in next to quiet family with first baby. Hilarity ensues.
The trailer may be a little bit spoilerish (showing a lot of the gag bits), but it looks good regardless.

My wife and I are excited for that as we both watched the original series a lot. Hoping all of the old cast can make a return one way or another.

I haven't seen Amazing Spiderman 2 yet... but this one is gonna have a hard time making a real profit.

Sony are apparently quite anxious to see how well the sequel performs, especially with a long running time and a whopping budget of $225 million (as well as around $190 million spent on marketing)

You figure with $0.50 on the dollar made at US theaters, and $415M spent on the movie and it's advertising (which practically showed the entire movie already).... to just make $415M domestic BO doesn't even come close to making it's money back. And for reference, the first Amazing SM made $262M domestic

It has 2 weeks till Godzilla and 2 more weeks after that till X-Men DoFP

China is expecting a large intake of BO, but US companies only get something like $0.25 on the dollar made, so they see even less back from Chinese theaters. I think Sony may have over extended themselves on this one... which wouldn't be good news for them since they already have a 3 more sequels in the works and the company as a whole is in the red. Spiderman is one of the few shining lights for Sony Pictures (James Bond being another tent pole), so seeing their "guaranteed" money maker, not make money by the truck load could be a problem.

There is no mid or post-credits scene that confirms that. It's only a fight sequence with Mystique in a Vietnamese camp. Nothing after or before confirms the sinister six

That is exciting news. Fantastic Four may return home and now Spidey may be close as well. With all of that out of the way Fox may be more willing to talk about a crossover with Marvel (less hands in the cookie jar so to speak).

More better Godzilla clip. Kind of spoilery, but not really assuming you've seen any of the more recent trailers:

Love that "cheek puff" he does (it's subtle). Also, the sound design is great.
