I'm a little late, but I'd say you should get Goblin Commander.  It is a great RTS, and has two player games along with the single player campaign.

I would have to disagree with some of that.  Yes, You may only be able to play 3 clans at once, but there really wouldn't be much strategy if each player could play all 5.  You have to combine the clans wisely (unless your playing the single player campaign, in which they choose your starting clans for you).  For example, you could have one melee clan, one ranged clan, and one effect clan, or you could have two ranged clans and a speed clan.
Also, If you could play all of your titans at once, that would be wothless, because you have to manually control each titan.  And about the turrets, if you could build as many as you wanted, there would be too much defense for the limited number of goblins to break through, and if they played as a ranged clan such as hellfire (my favorite :-) ) then you would spend all of those resources for nothing, because they could take out the turrets one by one, as their range is longer then the turrets.
And although you can only play 10 goblins at a time (and one titan), this adds to the strategy of the game.  You have to choose which of the 5 types of goblins under your command to put in your group of 10, which could alter the battle.

Does anyone know any good strategies with hellfire?  With any of the clans?  I have tried many with hellfire but just can't find the perfect one.

well, I've played this game and am still playing, and so far its a great game.  The Ex-Blizzard staff have succesfully made a good RTS for a console in my opinion.  It has fine graphics, 5 different goblin clans to choose from, and a single player campaign with a great storyline, which I'm on the verge of beating.  Also, the controls seem a little complicated at first, but if you play the first two missions (which are just an exxagerated tutorial) then you will understand them almost perfectly.
Along with all these good features, Since it is on the gamecube, you have the option to take direct control of your goblin hordes, which adds even more on to this great gaming experience.  It has plenty of strategy, as all 5 of the different goblin clans have their unique advantages and disadvantages, and all the clans have their own titan, which is basically the ultimate unit on the battlefield.
So if you are thinking about buying a game for the gamecube any time soon, I would strongly advise you to buy this game!
