"Nintendo released online periphrials for the GameCube. Developers ARE NOT using them in thieir games. WHY?"

Sony and MS release there own online titles.  Nintendo has not released any of their own online titles.  Since they're not willing to take the risk how can they expect third parties to?  Technically the PS2 and Cube online models are identical.  However Sony hypes it up as a big feature and Nintendo spends their time telling everyone online games aren't profitable.  Thus third parties feel much more safe developing online PS2 games.

SOE is a software maker responsible for the likes of Everquest and Planetside, they don't operate servers for third parties.

Not only is Tales of Symphonia not on the list for Best RPG, but Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich isn't too.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....Freedom Force owns as a PC RPG (IGN voted it as the best PC RPG at E3).

Freedom Force is an RPG? I thought it counted as stealth-tactics (like Commandos)?

It is really more of a tactical-RPG.  You can develop your superheros by adding new powers and upgrading them.
