I ended up just getting a PS3 instead. I might still get a handheld but I am not sure right now I think I might just take another look at the App Store.

Of the few games that I own:

1) Super Mario 3D Land
2) Fire Emblem
3) Donkey Kong Country Returns

The 3DS Professor Layton really hasn't grabbed me like the others have.  I might be the new control scheme or maybe all of the puzzles have felt way too easy.  Not sure.

I'm probably going to buy New Super Mario Bros. 2.  I haven't played any of the New Super Mario Bros., so I don't think I'll have the same "been there, done that" fatigue as other people say that have for it.
