Just got the latest Nintendo Power (stole my brother's) and thank god they had Final Fantasy III strategy in it. The Cultists's Tower is kicking my ass eight ways to next Sunday. Why did they lock out Attack again?

Also, they had something called the X-Band in it. Something about playing NBA Jam and Super Mario Kart over the Internet. I'd get it but my parents don't want to pay the long distance charges - they're ticked enough about paying for this "Internet" thing.

The year is 1995. I'm on a bus to Tulsa, I'm a fool. Windows95 makes me choose OS/2 as my operating system.

So check this out: I went to my game store after school today - wanted to check out Mario's Picross - and the guy said he had heard in EGM that there's this new RPG coming out for the Game Boy in Japan later this year.

Apparently they're going to release it in two versions, with each one having different enemies, and to see them all you have to use the link cable to fight other people with the other version. It's also being made by this Gamefreak company... apparently they made some game called Mendel Palace for the NES.

Is it just me, or is this thing going to utterly tank?

i think i heard about that too, like your a wizard and you control animals. You keep them in orbs and stuff. It sounded sort of like magic the way my friend described it.

You want an AOL or a Compuserv free 100 minutes disk?

All you need is a phone line. I've got a few extra disk leftover if anyone else wants one too.

I've got over 100 AOL CDs.

Who wants one? Free Internet! Get it before the service is no longer available, I highly doubt it is going to catch on.
